Hey everyone. I will not offer an opinion for either to not influence the polls. So what are your opinions for the trade involving the Unlv guard Marcus Banks and High Schooler Kendrick Perkens for Boston College guard, Troy Bell and Duke Guard, Dahntay Jones.

I have no idea. I have never seen any of those guys play in a "top level" game.

Right now, I don't think the trade favours one team more than the other. I'll have to wait until the NBA season before I cast further judgment.

the celts should have kept Bell, they are gonna regret it some day.

i think the celtics got the better of the deal, they added much needed height and inside presence in Kendrick Perkins who could develop into a good post player in a few years time.

I have to go with the Celtics. Bell and Jones were second-round projected players by nearly every scout. Banks gives them probably the best three-headed point guard they've had in years (Kenny Anderson's small explosion doesn't count) and Perkins gives them legit size in the post and an athleticism that Vin Baker could only dream about, plus he won't be thrown into the fire ala Kwame, Tyson and Eddy. He'll have two twenty point scorers in Pierce and Walker like Amare did in Phoenix. Plus he's got tons of upside.

dont get me wrong here(its not specially toward any person), but i think if im gonna hear the word "upside" again im gonna FREAK , on nba.com, espn, cnnsi just about everywhere the f*cking stupid word "upside", since that word has been introduced, geez, i read an article about it on espn or cnnsi and the author kinda went nuts about it too, im mean every player has some sort of potential but noone can predict how a player will evolve and turn out to be, we just have to wait and c cuz u will never know, all this crap about upside, for all we know lebron has the biggest upside and becomes a nobody in the end so u can have all the upside u want but if u dont become a good player the upside is nowhere, there, now my rage is spilled

, just ignore

I've been saying it because it's the buzzword every draft...plus Greg Anthony broke John Thompsons record of saying "upside" three times in ten seconds by saying it three times in eight seconds. Congratulations to Greg Anthony!
