NLSC PLAYER PROFILES: PART 3

Peter Robertson
Bio:
A Canadian prospect
Fan of the Raptors
For some reason his headband will never fit perfectly

Strengths:
An excellent free throw shooter
A lock-down defender
Has got hops

Weaknesses:
You would expect better rebounding skills for his size
Finesse player; does not try to score in the paint
Tough time knowing where everyone is on offense

Image
Robertson prepares to sink a free throw

Conrad Burry
Bio:
From Toledo, Ohio
Member of Tennessee team that lost to Wichita St.
After the NBA, wants to design jerseys

Strengths:
Shoots well
A master at behind-the-back dribbles
Aware of whats going on at all times

Weaknesses:
Bad rebounder
Can't dunk
Might want more steals from someone his size

Image
Burry dribbles behind his back

Jon Fitzgerald
Bio:
Won MVP at Camp in Horsham
Won Nat'l Championship at Kentucky in 1996
A huge Ron Mercer fan

Strengths:
Shoots well for a PF
Can score in the paint
Has the rebounding skills of a Dennis Rodman

Weaknesses:
Slow as hell
Loses control of the dribble
Doenst know where the open man is

Image
Fitzy stretches out for the board

Ivan Shchipansky
Bio:
A Russian prospect
A huge Denver Nuggets fan
Has a very long last name

Strengths:
Extremely good shot-blocker
Cleans up the boards
Athletic player

Weaknesses:
Not a very good shooter, by any means
Very slow
May want to stay away from fancy dribbles

Image
Shchipansky slams it down with authority

Khalid Sleiman
Bio:
From UAE
Huge Kings fan
Looks a lot like Kevin Martin

Strengths:
Fast
Able to guard taller defenders
Creates fast-break oppurtunities with his steals

Weaknesses:
Not a good shooter for someone that small
Cannot drive through the hole
Will get pounded on the boards

Image
Sleiman uses his quickness to get the bucket.

 It's not my fault the headband doesn't fit. The combination of the headshape and hair doesn't work well with a headband.

And I'm going to see them in Toronto!

Nice format for the player profiles and nice court also. Great player profile, the info for me was very accurate, except that my shooting has improved from bad to decent.

I'll be waiting for more updates.

Thanks for the comments guys. Anthony15 doesnt stand a chance against the last name "Andriuskevicius", which is 15 letters.

Ill try and get part 4 up tomorrow.

NLSC PLAYER PROFILES: PART 4

Zac Mousoulis
Bio:
Another Aussie prospect
On a star-studded Duke squad that could never win it all
Goes by "zmac"

Strengths:
An excellent shooter
Rebounds well on the defensive end
Has got hops

Weaknesses:
Never crashes the boards, which is why he never grabs offensive rebounds
He is a good shooter from the field, but only average from the free throw line
Gambles too much on defense

Image
Mousoulis has great accuracy from long distance

Shaun Callahan(I know hes been banned already, see how he gets cut during the tryouts)
Bio:
From Quincey, MA
Fan of Boston Celtics
Appeared on the "Sucks Balls" list on "The late show in Australia (or the early show in the US)" with Robert Skrnjug

Strengths:
Not the worst shooter
He can jump high
Decent speed

Weaknesses:
Creates chemistry problems among teammates
He sucks balls at defense
Doesnt want to get hurt, so he shies away from rebounds

Image
Callahan jumps for apparently no reason because the ball is nowhere near him

Michael Nibaldi
Bio:
Huge Pistons fan
From Melbourne
Looks like Sean Marks

Strengths:
A monster on defense
Scores well from black point range
Decent quckness for a PF

Weaknesses:
Average shooter, at best
Catch-and-shoot type of player, does not look to create his own shot
Needs to block more shots for someone at 6'10"

Image
Nibaldi tips in the shot

Joseph Pedrajas
Bio:
From the Phillipines
Thinks he has a killer crossover
Wears tights

Strengths:
Jacks up the 3, and shoots it well
Accurate from the line
His quickness leads to steals and fast breaks

Weaknesses:
Bad rebounder
Stays away from the paint
Doesn't have a clue whats going on in the game; may jack up a 3 with a lot of time left or doze off on D

Image
Pedrajas dives for the ball, but did anyone know that his tights were orange?

Flo Ruf
Bio:
German prospect
Looks a lot like Pavlovic
Has a very short last name

Strengths:
Good shooter
Makes the perfect pass every time
Very quick and can steal the ball

Weaknesses:
Gambles a lot on D
Can't Jump
Needs to box out

Image
Ruf could be as good a 3 point shooter as fellow German Detlef Schrempf.
