Sac-1's Photoshop Thread [New Webber Sig]

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

You need effects on your pics, and the background is boring. I'm not trying to be a jackass, but each of your sigs is the same, you're not trying new things. Look at the Sig League sigs from this week and last. None of us used a pic as is, we all did something to it, whether it be a blur, a Multiply layer, an overlay layer, or anything else. Also look at the backgrounds; try to have multiple brushing layers with different brushes at different transparencys. It's better to make a couple crap sigs where you're trying new things than to make the same ones over and over, because that way you learn what looks good and how to do it.

The last two, especially the Pierce one look pretty good. I suggest you try out the player effects and such recommended to continue to improve.

Nice, that's a great effect. Try making it smaller, like maybe 100x300, there's a lot of empty space in it.

I'm very impressed. It's nice to see you go from the Marion, Villanueva sigs to the Pierce and Peja ones. Nice work.

It's better, but you could make sigs like that so much better by varying your colors. Go to layer -> adjustment layer -> curves, and add one below the text and Peja picture. Just mess around with it till you get a curve that you like... you can also do a similar thing by using levels instead of curves.

Lol, he took zmac's avatar and your sig.
As for your next sig, keep trying new things, the player doesn't really matter.

Hmm, I dont really particulary like the font. The background is fine. Just maybe use some other font and it iwll be better.

There's too much empty space in it. It's tough to make a good wall.

I tried adding "effects" and changing the font. Cable Guy, could you help me with the empty space and what I can do with it?

You could maybe add some more pics faded into the left side, and move the text so it's not floating so much.
