Maybe, but I'm sure they could still show a more interesting matchup, especially with a couple of teams battling it out for an eighth seed. Something a bit more interesting than whether the Spurs will end up with the top seed (likely, if it comes down to them beating the Rockets) or the Rockets will move up or down a spot in the lottery

I liked what TNT used to do....they showed games with even teams, ESPN though just hopes that games fulfill their potential. I bet in the last game they had in mind that Houston & SAS would be battling for the better record. But realistically, if everyone was healthy anyways the big guns would rest that game anyways.

True, there's a lot of a guesswork involved. But they did replace the last game last year (showing the Bulls/Pacers finale instead) so I'm hoping they'll do the same next week, though since they've already picked up the Bulls/Wizards game this week they've probably done all the switches they're prepared to make this season.

Yup Im looking forward to this game as it has alot of importance to the playoff race and we don't get much Bulls games.

That SA Houston game would of been bad with Yao but now that he's out aswell, wow (N)

Definitely, and a nice treat for Bulls fans. I forget who was originally scheduled since they updated it a week or so ago and I immediately downloaded the new schedule, but I've got a feeling it was indeed a fairly mundane matchup, possibly involving the Spurs.

I stand corrected. But still, we've seen both those teams a few times this season. Time for some more variety, and this is variety I'm quite happy to see. :)

There was a really good Wizards/Sixers game shown earlier this year, where AI broke Antonio Daniels' ankles and went off for 47.

ah yes, i missed that one. one of my mates was talking about that ai ankle-breaker practically nonstop. still got to see it on top ten in nba action, but i missed the game. they're on at awkward times over here. so they've been shown, but i still havent seen them

It's cool they have the evening re-run, but quite often they make unnecessary cuts "due to time constraints" (yet have enough time to squeeze in more ads).

its usually 9 in the morning (and me being 15, you can imagine the chances of me being awake at that hour), or five in the afternoon, which is a little too early. usually its the same time everyone gets on msn and things start to pick up on various forums etc, so i have to make a call on the game. add to that that on thursdays i have school in the morning and basketball in the evening.

That's right, being in Newcastle and on AEST, I forgot the time difference. The replays start at 8 PM here.

you jerks always do :P . 8 would be a much more reasonable and easier time to watch it. other than thursdays, for reasons noted above. why cant they just delay everything by 2-3 hours depending on the time of year? it would make things so much easier for us on this side of the country.

I assume because it's the same Foxtel signal and they figure putting it on at 10 PM AEST would be too late at night.

if they had a timeshift channel for every channel, and that was set to eastern time, rather than two hours always, it could work. or even just a 2-hour timeshift for every channel. it would be better than the current setup.

is anyone feeling excited about playoffs? theres no real juicy matchups.....perhaps in the East a Heat v Nets and Heat v Pistons......out west a Mavs - Spurs matchup, but other than that nothing much. Still, west has better, more even teams so probably get a West heavy schedule....don't mind just give me Pistons!!!

Agreed, that'd make things a lot easier.

I'm excited, though I've had my fill of Spurs matchups. Since they're likely to go a fair way if not all the way, I hope they have some diversity in the first round at least so there's variety. I'll be more enthused if the Bulls make the playoffs.

No question, I'll be watching as well. I just hope that we get to see as many of those matchups as possible, even just a game or two.

the East is mega lame though...oh well, i guess it's an easier path for Detroit.

West should still be good.
