player.dbf editing question

how do you delete players like dwayne wade and that i wanted to make like a fantasy roster for like 30 yrs from now and i can't figure out how to delete original players

Best way to delete them is to change their TEAM value to 32 (Retired). They'll still be in the database so the file won't be any conflict and they'll be wiped once you start a new Dynasty since they're not part of the active rosters.
