well...he knows every single one of Brown's plays...and is already familiar with the players...i'd say it's a gooy decision...

Anyways, he is the former assistant so i don't think he'll do a bad job by any means. I still think Carisle would of been a better choice.

maybe carlisle even didnt want to interview with them but it's a good decision and now sixers can play against detroit and win!

it's possible that he will only coach for one season, and that cheeks will be coming in next year. i read that eddie jordan would have wanted a long term contract and the sixers really didn't want that.

He's a longtime Brown assistant and he's familiar with the players. I highly doubt the Sixers will fall from the top 8 in the East, even if their coach isn't well known.
