October 7th 2005- Richard Burberry was named the new General Manager of the Portland Trailblazers.
October 10th 2005- Richard Burberry and Nate McMillan discuss the future of the Portland Trailblazers. In the debate with the rest of the boardroom, Mr. McMillan is told what is expected from him. Nate McMillan then expressed his gratitude for allowing him the opportunity of staying of terminating his contract if he was not happy with the new General Managers Policy.
October 11th 2005- Nate McMillan decides that he wishes too continue as Portland’s Head Coach.
October 12th 2005- Former Euroleague Scout Kris Barrors (41) has decided too use his vast knowledge of European Basketball at Portland. He signed a lucrative deal with Portland for three years worth a total of $1.20m over the duration.
October 15th 2005- Unproven 44 year old Oba Tamale will take on his first senior role in the NBA by becoming the Portland Trailblazers new Offensive co-ordinator/Coach at a salary of $1.02m, also giving him an option of extending it at the end of the year.

October 21st 2005- 50 year old Clarence Preston agrees too become the Portland Trailblazers new Defensive Coach in a transaction set too make him $2.44m over a three year period.
Portland Trailblazers Training Camp begins. Portland Sends Rookie Guards Jarrett Jack, Sergei Monia, Martell Webster as well as the recovering TJ Ford too the Las Vegas Summer Camp.
39 year old Trainer Phillip Oyekanmi decides too continue hes contribution too the Portland Trailblazers by resigning for an extra two years at his current salary.
October 25th 2005 – Las Vegas Summer Camp set returns and resumes training with the rest of the squad.
October 27th 2005- Richard Burberry and Nate McMillan contract 44 year old Nweke Garnett as the teams’ new Assistant Coach. In a deal set too be worth a potential $2.90m offer three years.
October 28th 2005- Unrestricted Free Agent Scott Padgett signs for the Portland Trailblazers for $2.10m
