Grow taller?

Postby Cloudy on Thu Mar 09, 2006 9:11 pm

I want to know what kind of sports is best for increasing height quickly...
And what food REALLY helps growth, I heard chicken and steak is really good. Does milk really help?

Thanks

Wear high heels, it not only makes you taller but you'll like like a faggot too.

Win-win...well for some people anyway

a good way to grow taller is to eat the crusts on your bread... or was that to make your hair curly?

Sports doesn't make you taller. Vice-versa, actually.

Its all your genetics really. If you come from a tall family then you'd normally be tall. Its really strange for me because I'm 5'9/5'10 but my parents are around 5'0.

Get lots of sleep, eat your vegetables and drink your milk. Thats the only thing I can think of.

Just live as healthy as you can: eat well, sleep well, do lots of sports. That should allow your body to grow more.

I want to grow so bad. I feel like I've been the same height for years. I am as taller as both my parents now (5'6"). My grandpa on my moms side is like 6'4" though.

I grew most somewhere around 6th and 7th grade - around 4 inches per year. I was 6' in my freshman year in HS and grew another two inches during the same year and 1/2 of inch after that (to my current height of 6'2 1/2 or 189 cm). I thought I grew another half of inch a couple of months ago, but it turned out that it wasn't a correct measurement.

People can grow only to the certain height, but most people don't use all the 'height' potential due to different reasons. For instance, when I was 6'2, my doctor said that x-rays show that I'll grow another two to three inches, but I didn't, although I drink shiltoad of milk, I do yoga and go to the gym. But then again, I'm perfectly happy with my height. It's not too tall not to small.

Edit: my mom is like 5'8 and my dad is 6'1. I've got a lot of huge relatives down south, though. By huge, I mean 6'6+ huge.

Go to a plastic surgeon and have him break you legs and then lengthen you legs with special casts to assist. LOL, you can actually do this, but I wouldn't suggest it.

Earl - 'Hmmm, What were we before we were monkeys?'
