(sorry for my english - it's not good enough...)

Everyone tought that this will be very hard beginning for Celtics. San Antonio have won 1st quarter only by 2. Every player from Spurs’s starting lineups had a great game. Even Van Exel and Finley showed on the floor after Ginobili’s 4th foul. But in 2nd quarter Pierce started his show. He made incredible number of shots (43) and he end game with 53 points! Szczerbiak also had a good game (22 pts, 3 rebs) and he was the only player who helped Pierce to win this contest. San Antonio’s players tried to avoid loss but wonderfull play of Parker, Bowen, Dunkan and Manu wasn’t enough. After the game Doc Rivers said – “This was very, very good start but remember it was first game and it doesn’t mean nothing. I only have hope that we’ll have good season and we will have opportunity to play in playoffs. But it is future… very far future and we should concentrate on the next game”.

Hmm... Seems like a good dynasty, but that game was a little unrealistic...

Why? What should I do make games more realistic?

Mon Mar 06, 2006 11:00 pm

pierce scoring 53 is realistic, didnt he drop 50 last week? its just the fact you put up over 40 shots, and maybe the fact you didnt use a bench player ;) other than that its ur dynasty, you do what you want, and this is starting to look good

TRADE

October 29 Minnesota accepted trade offer from Boston:

ImageImage
Olowokandi to Minnesota
Davis to Boston

Image

After that Doc Rivers said - "We had to trade Olowokandi for Davis. He played in Boston earlier and our team needs that kind of guard. Of course I think that Wally is great but we need someone who's more explosive - Ricky is explosive player. We want to build very strong team and he will surely help us. I also think about another transfer but I don't want to talk about it right now."

That was very hard game. Hard and lost. From the beginning Brand, Mobley and Cassell show that there want be easy way for Boston. Those three Clippers couldn't be stop because of poor defense of Celtics. Sam Cassell made 41 points and he was the best player on the floor. From Boston team only Pierce and Davis made some great points. Doc Rivers had to make some substitutions. He gave Gomes and Green chance to play. "Green had wonderfull game-we lost but he made 11 points! I think he's a future of this team. He need to work hard and I belive that he'll have his place in first five" - said Rivers after the game.

Noone expected that this game will be so easy. From the beginning Boston just dominated the game. Minnesota's defense was very very poor. Doc Rivers changed PG position and this time Delonte West didn't play - Allen took his place. "I know that Allen hadn't a great game but he need his time on the floor. He need to play and be rady everytime". But this game was a great moment for another bench players. Green, Gomes and Perkins were sensational on the floor. "They're great! I'm very happy that these young men had their moments! This was awesome!" - said Pierce after the game. And he has right. Green, Gomes and Perkins played almost all game. They even domiante game in 3rd half. "I think we show what we can do and I'm happy for it. It's great feeling when your team wins and you're part of succes!" - said Gomes - the best rookie on the floor this evening.
