Hi
I’m a French fan of Nba Live 2000, The best simulation since 2 years….
I play with “Nba Live 2003 demo” since several days and I can say : Nba Live 2000 still the best game !
I don’t know if you want change “in court logos” or “menu logos”
I give you a tutorial for “in game logo” but the changes can do in “menu logos” too.
I use EAGRAPH (Download it on NLSC) and Adobe Photoshop 6
1 - EXTRACT AND CHANGE LOGO
Use Eagraph and open the logo picture in the following directory
(for example: Lakers “in game” logo)
Nba Live 2000/art/ingame/teams/teamdata.viv/llcrt.fsh/tlog
When “tlog” is open, save it in Bmp format (tlog.bmp)
Use Photoshop to replace it with a new logo picture.
But ATTENTION, the new logo keep the “original tlog” colour palette ! So, if you create a new logo with new personal colour with Photoshop, in the game, the team logo will keep the original “lakers logo colour”
The solution : in Photoshop, when you save your new logo, you must save the new “colour palette” too in other file !! ( type : Microsoft RIFF palettes)
2 - IMPORT THE NEW LOGO
Use Eagraph and open the same logo picture
Nba Live 2000/art/ingame/teams/teamdata.viv/llcrt.fsh/tlog
Use “Import Wizard” tool
Select “Import an existing external file into the current open image” and browse your “tlog.bmp” new image
Then use “palette workbench” and select “Apply colors from a palette file” and load your palette (saved in Photoshop)
Don't forget to fill "opacity = 0" around the logo
IT’S IN THE GAME…
If you want change “menu logo” ---)
Nba Live 2000/art/frontend/foregrnd/logos/logos.viv and open all “Lakers logos” and make changes. (and jersey too)
If you want change all “Vancouver logo and graphic menu” to “Memphis”, you must look for all “Vancouver picture files “ in the entire game !!
Soon, I will replace Memphis all in the game, send me an e-mail if you are interested…
I could help you for changing all Court details (lines colour, paint form, etc…) but it’s a long job and you must have notions of “hexadecimal”…
Lolomarion
Ps : I think that the only problem with Nba live 2000 is the poor speed of T-meter Freethrow in “High level” mode, it’s too easy for the player (it must be like in Live 2003)
Have you a good idea for me ????
