Magic opened their season tonight in front of a packed house to face off against
the
Indiana Pacers. As The Magic were outlasted by the Indiana PAcers 117-109 in a tight rapid great game.
Jermaine O’Neal led the
Pacers with
29 Points &
19 Rebounds as well as blocking
2 shots, also playing well
for the
Pacers was
Peja Stojakovic who had
24 Points. The
Pacers found themselves down by
1 heading
into the 4th but that’s when
O’Neal stepped up and secured the win for the
Pacers. “It was a tough game
tonight they have a lot of talented youngsters but in the end we did just enough to leave here with the win”
The
Magic can take away a lot from this game as almost every one expected them to get thumped against
such a talented team as the
Pacers.
Dwight Howard had an outstanding game scoring
40 Points and pulled
in
14 Rebounds as well as dishing out
5 assists,
Darko Milicic added
17 points and
5 rebounds and
Six
Assists. “We stayed with them until the final Qrt and then there experience just took over”
Howard Said.

Magic exploded in the 2nd half,
Grant Hill stepped up and scored

after the break to give the
Magic the win.
“They were in it up until half time and then we just took over a great effort from our guys”
Hill said.
The
Grizzlies were led by
Damon Stoudamire who had
18 Points but shoot a dreadful

Pau Gasol added

3 Blocked shoots. “The completely dominated us in the 2nd half”

Magic dug deep in the 4th but it wasn’t enough.
