Rockets or Wizards?

It's been confirmed that he might say his decision today (or maybe later on this week) and the Wizards have already offered him a 5 year, 25 million dollar contract.

I think Van Gundy will do a good job in Houston. It's a shame the Rockets are in the Western Conference though - that top 8 will be difficult to crack.

Well its looks like our former coach will go to Houston

It would be interesting to see him coach Yao and Stevie Franchise.
formerly known as jonas, used to make those stupid stuff patches for NBA Live 98

I think Van Gundy will be able to utilise Yao effectively. Yao probably would have had a better rookie year had he been playing 30+ minutes from the start of the season. For the year, he averaged just 29 minutes per game - increased court time and a year in the NBA should see further improvement from Yao. I think Van Gundy will give him the opportunity.
