Let more than 2 people play online at once.

I remember back in Live 99 or 2000 you had the ability to play as teammates online vs CPU, that should come back or what would be even better would be the ablitity to have up to 10 people able to play online at one time.
10 may be pushing it, but even just 4 seems cool. That would make things way more interesting online.

I played against 2 people. me on 1 team, and them on the other. I turned down alot of graphics, but it was still rather laggy till we got disconnected. i think they were from Australia while I was from Singapore. I was using broadband.
improve the network code? I only used live 2001 multiplayer frequently after that, was rather fun. have not tried the multi-p mode in 2003.

I want to be able to play against people on a lan why cant i have this?

i want to chat during gameplay, not just in pause screen. But as i remember an article, live 2004 doesn't even have online play.....that's disappointing
