Yeah, take them. Granger is quite a nice player.

thierry wrote:Great win Jugs (Y) Keep it up man... that Granger dunk is amazing.

Thanks, yeah what happened was Granger went up for the dunk and I was trying to take a screen and then something went crazy and it would only rewind back to where he was hanging off the rim, so i took the screen of it there.

Jamal Tinsley wants out of Indianapolis

November 15th, 2005

Indiana Pacers' Point Guard, Jamal Tinsley, has told his teammates and GM Larry Bird that he wants to be traded to another team. Jamal Tinsley stated that he feels like he is being misused on his team and should be receiving more playing time than rookies Sarunas Jasikevicius and Danny Granger.

Image
I want out: Jamal Tinsley feels like he is not needed on the team anymore.

Rick Carlisle, "Well, we're obviously disappointed about Jamal's (Tinsley) decision to leave the Pacers, but it is what ever is best for him. If he wants more playing time, than he can get more playing time."
Jermaine O'Neal, "(Jamal) Tinsley was a good friend of mine, it is sad that he wants to leave at such an early point of the season. I wish him the best of luck."

Jamal Tinsley has been averaging 12.4ppg and 4.6apg so far this season. There have been not many rumours as of yet, but Cleveland and Atlanta have said that they have contacted the Pacers franchise regarding Jamal Tinsley.

Jamal Crawford out for 3 weeks

November 17th, 2005.

New York Knicks' guard Jamal Crawford has broken his wrist and will be out of action for the next 3 weeks. In a game against the Orlando Magic, Jamal Crawford went up for the jump-shot and Mario Kasun came storming out of nowhere and clobbered Jamal onto the ground and broke Jamal Crawford's wrist.

Jamal Crawford scored 15 points and dished out 5 assists in the victory against the Magic. His teammate Stephon Marbury scored 45 points, grabbed 7 boards and dished out 9 assists in the 101-85 victory. Antonio Davis also had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Tracy McGrady out

November 22nd, 2005

Houston star forward, Tracy McGrady has recieved bone spurs in his ankle and will miss the next two weeks. Not much has been released about the injury but it happened in the final quarter with 3 minutes left in the game in a win against the New York Knicks. A defensive mishap occured and Yao Ming ended up landing on Tracy McGrady's foot and hurting it badly. Tracy McGrady has been averaging 38.2ppg, 10.4rpg, 6.8apg, 2spg and 1.40 bpg in 10 games. This injury will hurt the Rockets for the next 2 weeks as his been their most dominate player as of this date.

Nice job with the recaps and league info, it's done real well (Y)

I'd trade Tinsley for a reliable back-up C/F, most teams want a PG and you could always throw in one of your C who doesn't play.
Let's see you come up with a name for me

Thanks, yeah most dynastys are revolved around their own team, because it is a one team dynasty, but I feel like getting my article writing skills up so I decided to do some articles about other things.
I might try and get Salim but I don't wanna change my team too much, i have more of a 1 for 1 trade in my mind, but i'll look at other possibilities.

Yeah I liked him too but I don't like him, if you know what I mean..... :?

I'm sorry but I can not think of a decent name for you, I apologize for my mental blockness, have a nice day wrote:Nice job with the recaps and league info, it's done real well

SECRET!!

Thanks, your dynasty is good to with the synagogue thing or whatever its called (forgotten)

Yeah thats what I was thinking, I use Granger and Harrison as back-up C and PF's, both being young and potentialful, but i have to give them some more time, even though Granger is ripping it. :?

I'll try and figure out a fair trade, I have my cap at 100mil but i want to do a fair salary trade.. but that'll make the Nuggets have 3 PG's :o

Maybe include Artest in the package for Dre :o

Indiana Pacers dream start continues wonderfully in Minnesota

November 22nd, 2005

Boxscores
Indiana Pacers | Minnesota

Minneapolis, MN (Ticker) Jermaine O'Neal scores a season high of 31 points and also grabs a season high of 16 rebounds as the Pacers scraped through a close victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The first quarter was quite a high scoring and even battle which was lead by Wally Szczerbiak and Austin Croshere. In the second quarter, Croshere lost all momentum so Jermaine O'Neal stood up and stuck his team into the lead. O'Neal grabbed 6 rebounds in the quarter and 2 blocks. The Pacers ended the quarter ahead 62-55.

Kevin Garnett decided to step up in his own way by grabbing boards, dishing out assists and a few dunks. Total dominance by him and the crowd was behind their home team. The Timberwolves ended up putting the scores all square at 87 a piece at 3 quarter time. Enter the S-Jax. The fourth quarter saw Stephen Jackson show off his clutchiness, scoring 12 of the last 14 points of the game for the Pacers, including 5-5 free throws to win the game for his team. The final score, 110-106.

Stephen Jackson, "I was just hot in that final quarter, I'm glad I did all I could for the win. Its sad to see Jamal wanting to leave Indianapolis even with the great start to the season we've had, hopefully his loss will not effect us very much."
Larry Bird, "I just love clutch basketball, great job by Stephen Jackson and also great to see Jermaine O'Neal in form tonight with season highs in points and rebounds."
Eddie Griffin, "I just couldn't handle Jermaine (O'Neal) tonight, I was quite dissappointed. It was unlucky that we lost this, kudos to Stephen Jackson."

The Indiana Pacers move to 7-1 in the year, including 6-1 on the road. The team heads back to Indianapolis tommorow to play their second only home game against the Philadelphia 76ers who are currently 6-4 this season.

Jackson did good off the bench.

Maybe trade Tinsley for a PF/C ?

Good luck next win.

Thanks, yeah the 3 was flukey

Thats what im thinking of, i have Artest and Sarunas looked in the backcourt, and Granger and O'Neal in the front, Croshere isn't enough, but i could play Granger at PF and S-Jax at SG and Artest at SF, thats a good line-up.

Philadelphia visits and conquers the Pacers

November 23th, 2005

Boxscores
Indiana Pacers | Philadelphia 76ers

Indianpolis, IN (Ticker) The 76er's starters combined for 105 points in a win against the hot Pacers in Indianapolis. The First half saw the Pacers crowd stunned as Sixers big men Chris Webber and Samuel Dalembert helped their team get to a 63-53 lead at the half way point. Dalembert only finished with 11pts because he was limited in the second half due to foul trouble. The Pacers looked lost out there but managed to just stick in the game thanks to some great passes from Sarunas Jasikevicius.

The third quarter saw the Pacers go on a roll led by Jermaine O'Neal and Danny Granger, who combined for 18 out of 28 3rd quarter points but the Sixers managed to keep themselves ahead of the Pacers by 6 at the changeover. The fourth quarter saw both teams play some sluggish ball but the Sixers held strong, despite both Webber and Dalembert in foul trouble. AI led the team with 31 points and 7 assists to win his team the game, 113-106.

Middle Left: Andre Iguoudala was flashing his jumping tonight. Middle Right: Jermaine O'Neal answers with some of his hops.
Bottom Left: David Harrison gets the block on AI2. Bottom Right: Austin Croshere misses the clutch shot.

Rick Carlisle, "I was quite disappointed with the loss, hopefully our new editions, if we get any, will fit in."
Jeff Foster, "Why am I being the one rumoured to be traded? Shouldn't it be Jamal Tinsley?"

Tinsley out, Gooden in

November 24th, 2005

Indianapolis, IN - GM Larry Bird has informed ESPN and nba.com that point guard Jamal Tinsley has been traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers for power forward Drew Gooden. Drew Gooden has been averaging 11.9ppg and 10.2 rbpg in 12 starts for the Cavs but the Cleveland management decided they needed a pass first type point guard and found Jamal Tinsley, who averaged 12.4ppg and 4.6apg in 7 games.

Drew Gooden will wear number 90 for the Pacers and will most likely be starting Power Forward above Austin Croshere.

It was a steal salary wise as I'm not stuck with Tinsley's long contract but the trade makes Cavs stronger with a good passing Point Guard who could probably help LeBron and Hughes.
