A ratings question

Hey there. I'm new to the board as far as participating, but not as a reader. Nonetheless, I am at a standstill in regards to rating my EuroLeague teams so I can stack them up against the NBA teams. My question is do I just look to EL stats for their ratings, or do I include their national league stats as well? One thing I did notice, is for example with Alba Berlin; not so great in the EL. But add in the Bundesliga stats and they do tend to rise. The alternative is to go back to my initial ratings approach, which was to put the NBA and EL under the same ratings scale. I made a separate scale for the EL when I noticed their palyers weren't reaching the heights of the NBA players, so that led me to experiment.
Does anyone have any input or suggestions as to which is the best way to solve the matter? I'd appreciate any help.

I suggest using the same scale for all players, but that does not mean that you have to underrate the EuroLeague players. I think it would be best to use the same ratings for all players, perhaps making a few allowances here and there.

I went on that notion, plus I noticed I had gotten away from my initial rating procedure and worked everything out. I do have another question. As I was looking at the player database: There are columns designated "FGATTEMPT," SFGATTEMPT," "PFGATTEMPT," and "DFGATTEMPT," for example. What does the "D" represent and why does that total appear different from the "FGATTEMPT?"

Those are the DSTATS or Development Stats. They control simulated performance in Franchise Mode.

Andrew, I guess the only way to reply after seeing this is: this made my day! I was about to ask some kind of question about controlling stealing, blocking and rebounding and that resources page answered everyhting.
