Lakers beat Spurs in a thriller…

Parker was able to show something amazing…

The hardest match so far this season for the Lakers’. The beginning of the game was really bad for the Spurs. They couldn’t score anytime and were defending bad. Lakers’ went the same, but in the last seconds fired up to take the lead. Second quarter was better for the Spurs, they scored a lot more points and played a team game. Started defending a lot better and playing a whole different game. Lakers’ were shooting too many contested shots, but Kobe was hanging the team with Lamar’s and Ike’s help. In the third Lakers’ were the winners, but won in a small amount of points. Lamar scored 14 of his 24 in that quarter and Felton dished 6 of his 11 assists. Lakers’ were ready for the 4th and for the win. In the 4th Lakers’ too the lead in a 14-0 run. But the Spurs woke up and didn’t let it go. Duncan and Parker were doing the job, while the shooters were sleeping. Spurs had their worst game in shooting as they attempted 28 three’s and got only 1! Still they managed to get the tie and continue the game with an overtime. In the overtime teams were playing similar, just Kobe got 3 three’s and knocked a win. Still, Spurs' 4 starters showed an amazing performance by scoring 20 or more points each!

Looking good, man.

Also, the team logos are cut out, did you find them like that on a website, or did you cut them out yourself? Sorry if it's hard to understand. I don't really know how to word it...

Showtime is back??!!

Today Mitch Kupchak called a very important press conference in the Staples Center, to announce a historic event in the Lakers history.

“We mark this day as a historic one, Kupchak said. Every fan of the Lakers will know this day, because we can say: ”Showtime” is back!”
“Yesterday we got offered an amazing trade by Houston Rockets. They offered us Yao Ming and Jon Barry for Lamar Odom and Devin Green. With no waiting we accepted it and Yao Ming is currently on his way to Los Angeles. Lamar Odom is now at Houston.”
Image
“I’m really happy of that happened and I think it’s time for the Lakers to shine again, head coach of the Lakers Phil Jackson said. We are really looking forward in Yao playing with Kobe and we think that if those two players unite as we want, we can get a winner. I will not say what can Yao do and he can’t do, I can say he’s amazing.”
Image
“I can also say a few words: “Showtime” is back. Yao Ming is one of NBA’s best center’s currently and if Kobe unites with him Lakers can be unstoppable.”
Image
“Our team is growing stronger and stronger every day, but today we improved the most. I’m teaching Bynum personally now, but if I can unveil Yao, we can make a champion. And I have to mention what Jon is a great shooter, so I could say we benefited more.”

And the streak continues…

Yao had a good game with 24 points,6 rebounds, 4 blocks and the player of the game honors…

The wild T-Wolves were unable to stop the fired up Lakers. Yao Ming had his debut with his team mate in Houston Jon Barry. Yao scored 24 points, while Barry only 4, but he was the only player to score from the bench. Kobe has his 6th game scoring 30+ points.
In the beginning Lakers to the lead by George’s successful attack and Felton’s three-pointer. Felton dished 5 of his 10 assists. Kobe scored 10 points, but Yao was unsuccessful. Bynum had more minutes in the first then he did. Jon Barry scored all of his points in the first. At the end of the quarter wolves managed to take the lead by one point. At the second, Lakers were playing good in the first half of it, but not in the second, took many contested shots and did many turnovers. Minnesota’s Hassell and Hudson were doing the job. In the third Lakers regrouped and scored 24 points, Kobe 15 of them. Lakers were playing outstanding in defense by rejecting 4 shots, and stealing 3 balls. At the last quarter Minnesota tried to take the lead by attempting great shots, but the pressure was too big for them, not like for the Lakers. They hit all of their 4th quarter free-throws and got the win…

Magical Orlando…

Francis scored a game high 30 points, all he did was in three quarters…

>>Player of the game<<
>>Top performers<<

Magical Orlando, finished Lakers’ 6-0 streak in SBC Center, Orlando. At the beginning Magic wasn’t good because of Kobe’s and Diogu’s six point attacks in 1 minute. Then Magic started playing slowly ,but successfully. They scored a few points and at the end of the quarter Steve Francis started attacking Lakers as a bomb, scored 10 points in last two minutes. But Orlando lost the quarter by 3 points. In the second Magic lost the quarter by 4, but were playing better and from the beginning. Andrew Bynum scored all of his 8 points in the second quarter. George was a great also. In the second half Orlando showed a whole different game, by taking over the lead and extending it a bit. Still Kobe did all he could do and scored 18 points in that quarter. Magic won the quarter by 10 points. Lakers were unable to take back the lead and win the game. They were playing nicely, but Howard was exploding them with the help of Nelson. At the last seconds Lakers were fouling, but it didn’t help.

Johnson sinks Lakers…

Josh had a big game with 21 points…

>>Player of the game<<
>>Top performers<<

Atlanta is improving. We can say this after the performance that they showed in Staples Center. A lot of rebounds, blocks, steal, and especially points. Josh Smith 21, Salim Stoudamire 28(career high), Joe Johnson 44. Lakers were also amazing. Yao Ming 26, Kobe Bryant 31, Ike Diogu 23(career high). At the beginning Lakers shocked the Hawks, but they were able to recover with no hardness. They were rebounding better then the Lakers all the time they got 19 offensive boards. Phil Jackson was mad about this performance. The game was going the same way all the time. Atlanta took the lead in the last quarter, but wasn’t able to hold it and Ike Diogu tied the game in 6 seconds, left. Hawks were unable to finish the Lakers. In the overtime, the biggest hero was Ike Diogu, who was playing were outstanding. Lakers were leading, but not for long. They lost the lead, in the last minute Salim Stoudamire nailed two three’s for the win…
