Big Ben vs. Shaq whos better defencivly?

look at darko for instance, his blocks usually come from his shit defence in the first place for letting his man get by so easy

Did you see the game I'm refferring to? Shaq's precense stoped philly from even thinking of driving the lane. He was swatting everything weak.

cant say i did see it... that doesnt change my opinion though. you cant base defence solely on blocks. im not saying he played shit defence in that game, or has ever played bad defence.

ive found matt to be so unbiased towards detroit at times that it pisses me off

Zo is better than both of 'em.

you smoke crack. Zo can't rebound like Ben, can't defend the pick & roll like Ben, doesn't have the quick hands like Ben to nab steals and doesn't rotate as well as Ben. He doesn't dominate the game on D like Ben does.

He also doesn't have the small hands like Ben so that he blows dunks, and drops the ball. He doesn't rebound quite as well as Ben, but it's hard to rebound the ball when on most plays, he sends it in the other direction. Unlike most players, Zo keeps the ball in bounds after he makes the block, he's one of the best since Bill Russell... it almost always results in a fast break. There aren't many players whose defensive presence and intensity can put a team at an advantage without Shaq... but that's what Zo does.

Zo stands in the paint and blocks the ball. thats not playing fucking defence... its blocking.

When it comes to someone like you, who uses a fake account to try and stir things up to get attention, who is also a homer, bigot, no respect for the game, a wigger, someone who has some "loyalty" to detroit becuase of god knows whats, and voted for Mark Latham, yes I do think I'm higher than you. Even though it might not be as macho, keeping the ball inbounds after a block makes alot more sense to me cuz at least you have the opportunity to gain back possession. Thats what I would rather do so that makes me a sissy (sp?).

That's what Bill Russel used to do. It's called being a team player..

I don't think you can compare a player like Shaq, that is near the end of his carreer with a younger one like Big Ben. Try to compare the 2000-2001 Shaq with today's Ben....Big Ben is an hall of famer for his heart, for everything he puts in every play. Shaq is an hall of famer.
I love defencive players like Big Ben or Mutombo (in his early days...and even today he's my hero ) but Shaq is really from another planet....

i was kidding... of course its better to block the ball to a teammate or to yourself...

it just looks so much better when it goes flying into the stands
