LA Lakers Dynasty

Postby V15 on Sun Feb 05, 2006 1:07 am

I've been thinking of making a dynasty story here for quite a while now. Adding a little more fantasy to my dynasty on the game. I can give it a try, right? :)

Notes:

- The game is played on the Playstation 2, therefore will not have beautiful screenshots. I will try to make some with my digital camera.

- I already played 21 games. I'm currently on a 16-7 run. I will post the results, standings and personal stats here.

- I'm Dutch, so I don't know alot about the NBA. It's very hard for me to follow. :P So don't slag me if I have trouble reviewing the games I play. :|

That's it.

I appreciate feedback and views on the team. Got any suggestions? Give them!

LETS GOOOO LAKERS

THE TEAM

Trades
Medvedenko, George <> Fisher [Golden State Warriors]
Jones, Vujacic, Profit <> Livingston [L.A. Clippers]
Livingston <> Wilcox [L.A. Clippers]
Brown, Cook <> Redd, Mason [Milwaukee Bucks]
Odom <> Brown [Milwaukee Bucks]

After I got Redd and Mason, Livingston wasn't needed. What I did need was a good PF, so I could move Brown to C.

I got tried to get Brown back, because I absolutely suck playing with Odom. :P

It isn't very realistic and dodgy... I know... but I'm a NBA Live rookie, man!

Wow, you screwed the Bucks over with that Mason+Redd trade :)
I'm not sure about playing Kobe at PG tho... Perhaps trade Redd for a good PG instead and move Kobe up to SG.

The dynasty has gotten a good start so far, good luck (y)

I'm not sure about Kobe being at 1. He is a ballhog!
Good luck!

A little stacked, but I'll keep an open mind.

Oh, and that Redd trade probably wasn't the ideal move for the Lakers. I think they need inside scoring presence rather than another scoring guard. Just my opinion though. Good luck with this.

Thanks for the comments!

I really like Redd for his excellent shooting and scoring ability. I was just too reliant on Bryants points before Redd came. So with Bryant's scoring, passing and stealing ability, for me it's ideal having him at PG, and Redd SG. Since Bryant started playing PG, others scored more points too. Especially the inside scorers. Wilcoxe is a beast! He just slams himself through the opponent. :P I agree there are not alot of options for the inside scoring on the bench though. I'll give that a look.

Tomorrow or saturday I will be updating this, I've been real busy with school this week.

Ahem. Does that not happen anyways?

Great start, albeit it's a bit stacked, but hey, so's mine
