Thu Feb 09, 2006 2:57 pm

Okay I'm doing a Grizzlies Dynasty and this is how it is, I'm doing 29 game season on Superstar, I am a GM that was a big coach in high school, but decided i wanted to be front office, I have created a player named Austin Nyman (71 overall undrafted out of high school) I said only way I GM is if I can sign him, so that's what is going on. . .He is coming off of my already deep bench. . .So I will get game posted in a few minutes. . .ENJOY!

Key Matchup
Image VS Image

The key here is for Marion to be able to stop Gasol. As lon gas Gasol is in the game, the Grizzlies are in the game and also fo rthe Grizzlies to have a chance they need to take out at least one of the the Sun's 4 great scorers. Gasol need to make Marion try to drive and not let MArion get shots off, Marion on the other hand, must make Gasol post up, don't let him get inside and dominate.

Key Bench Players
Image AND Image

These two palyers are two players that could have huge impacts coming off the bench. Jim Jackson is such a huge player coming off the bench and making clutch plays for the Suns. Shane Battier is a great defender and has a great perimiter shot.

Sleepers
Image AND Image

Joe Johnson might not seem like he is under the radar, but playing with this team he is, he isn't expected to be a huge scorer with this team that includes, Nash, Marion, and Amare, but I see Joe having a breakout game to show everyone he is a key palyer to this team. Mike Miller for the Grizzlies has always been the 6th, 7th man, or even lower, but now he has a starting job for the team. Look for him to breakout and out up some amazing numbers not only this game, but this year.

Starters for Grizzlies:
PG- Bobby Jackson
SG- Eddie Jones
SF- Mike Miller
PF- Pau Gasol
C- Lorenzen Wright

Starters for Suns:
PG- Steve Nash
SG- Joe Johnson
SF- Walter McCarty
PF- Shawn Marion
C- Amare Stoudamire

1st Quarter:

In the first quarter Gasol came out on fire, the Suns defense no matter what they did they could not stop Gasol and his almighty hook. With the help of Joe Johnson and Amare though the Suns stayed in it. Gasol had twelve points at the end of the quarter and Joe and Amare had six each. Grizzlies defense gave them a 23-17 lead at the end of the quarter.

2nd Quarter:

This quarter the Suns outscored us by only two, but that put them within four. Amare was doing great and racked up four rebounds giving him seven total in the half earning him player at the half for the Suns. No one could stop him down low and Joe had eleven points. The big player still though was Gasol and his twenty-two points at half giving Grizzlies lead 44-40.

Key Matchups and Key Player Updates:

Key Matchup: Gasol Vs Marion-Gasol clearly winning matchup with 22 pts and Marion a measly 4 pts.

Key Bench Players: Battier and J. Jackson- Neither player doing spectacular in first half Battier with 2pts. and Jackson with 4 pts., but look for big 4th quarters for these player hopefully.

Sleepers: Mike Miller and Joe Johnson- Each having good 1st halves, Mike with 12pts. all from outside the arc and Joe had 11 pts. People still looking for them to break out and change the game for their teams.

3rd Quarter:

The game was even all through this quarter, no one lost or gained ground. Suns finally stopped GAsol and held him to four points this quarter giving him a total of twenty-six. Nash finally broke out of his shell and came out and scored twelve points. Nash showed his last years MVP form. Marion scored zero points in a dissapointing game so far. Going into the fourth quarter Suns hoped to gain som eground and overcome the four point defecet of 65-61.

4thQuarter:

The Grizzlies had Battier start off this quarter and boy did it pay off. He had a total of two points going in, but coming out he had fifteen. He scored thirteen points in the fourth and was unstoppable from outside. The Grizzlies held Joe Johnson to zero points in fourth and Nash to three points. No one coud stop the Grizzlies this quarter and Gasol, who posted another twelve this quarter. The final score of the game was 96-85 Grizzlies overcome the Suns and Pau Gasol got player of the game honors.

Mike Miller: 26 points
