Training Camp

Al Harrington showed up in training camp with a huge smile on his face happy about the Johnson trade and along with the picks of Williams and Salim "Im just happy we've got a nice young team two leaders in me and Joe and we've got an ok big-man in Zaza and a highflying swingman in josh its time for atlanta to move on"said the 25 year old forward."We've still go to work on our rebounding and our defence but were ok" said coach Woodson when asked if they could make a push for the playoffs.The Team did 150 pushups 20 suicides, 3 hours of running lay-ups and blocking,passing,shooting, and rebounding drills in each training camp day.When asked what he thought about the drills Johnson said"I no they dont have to do that on xbox 360"

Hack-a-Shaq is usually a sound strategy but be careful, it doesn't always work in NBA Live. The CPU has a knack of hitting high percentages from the foul line with terrible free throw shooters.

Hawks Fly Pass Miami 101-94

This was a great game back and forth.Johnson went off for 13 points in the first quarter and finished with 24 pts in the game Wade led his team 8 points and his team went to team work type playing in the 1st quarter.and miami was leading the 1st quarter 26-22 but had 7 turnovers in that 1st quarter.The Hawks shot 7-21 in that quarter.In the second quarter Joe had another double diget quarter by getting 11 points in another bad shooting quarter for the hawks .Wade had just 4 points but Williams cleaned that up 6 points and 5 rebounds.Very early in the third quarter Joe went down with a injury and didnt return,but Smith cleaned it up with 15 points in the third quarter.Wade had 11 points and the hawks held Shaq to just 8 points so far he finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds.in the forth quarter it was salim time he had 13 points in the quarter and he finished with 15 and twan had 10 this quarter

Johnson To Be Out 5 Days

Johnson Will miss the game against San Antoino due to a sprained thumb which he substained in the first minutes of the 3rd quarter vs the Miami Heat.Salim Stoudimere will start in his place."Josh Smith And Al are going to have to be our leaders".The Hawks Will try to Get their second win tommorow against Duncan and his Spurs without there leading scorer Joe Johnson

Atlanta,GA-Johnson is going to be 9 days(2 games) instead of 5 they learned this just an hour before the game vs the spurs.Now they say that Al will have to step up and be a leader to beat the champs and orlando joe will most likely be back for the gae against grizzles and will have to where some type of tape around his right hand area

Hawks Sink to World Champs 107-101

Tony Parker shoots 2 of his 26 points in a win

Tonight was again another bad shooting night for the Hawks because they shot 36% tonight but still were able to give the Spurs a little run.In the first quarter Manu went down with an injury and was replaced by Finley who had 16pts in the game but in the first Duncan was scoring and rebounding he had 7pts and 6 rebound alone in the first quarter and Orburto came in when Timmy got in foul trouble and gave the spurs a 7 point effort Harrington had 10 of his 20pts and 4 of his 10 rebounds in the first Salim who got the start for Joe Johnson because of the thumb injury had 6pts in the first.The first quarter was a bad shooting quarter for the Hawks they shot 8-24 in the first but forced 5 turnover for the Spurs and the Spurs shot 10-24 for 41% shooting San Antoino went to the line and shot 11 freethrows at the end of the quarter it was 28-22 Spurs.In the sencond it was a show of point guard as Tony Parker and Tony Delk went on for 12 and 11 respectivley the Hawks had 15 boards in this quarter alone and also had 4 blks and held the Spurs to 33% shooting and at the end of the second it was 49-47 Hawks.In the third Smith had an all around line with 4 pts, 3 rebs, 2 asts, 2 blks, 1 stl and Zaza 6 pts 3 rebounds and 1 block.Parker hand 10 pts and Barry had 7.In this quarter the Hawks had 10 boards and 3 blks but shot only 39% but forced 7 TO for the Spurs.At the end of the quarter it was 72-81 Spurs.In the forth smith had 10 pts 1 blk and Salim,Childress, and Finley all had 6pts and Rasho chiped in with 5 pts and 4 boards.at the end of the game it was 101-107.
