I was bit disappointed, there wasn't another one when I logged in this morning. Andreas forwarded me the email about applying for a position in the NBA with the attached resume.

I am writing to apply for a place of player in NBA. Please see my CV below.

I have a degree in basket-ball from FBA ( AFRICA ). I have been playing basket ball since my childhood , I was and I still the best player in my country with smiliar players in the same category as me , if not say in the whole continent ,but unfortunately no one cares about me , so now I feel my basket ball is going vainly , so I always dream that I 'll be player in NBA in any team because here in ALGERIA , the staff of Sports don't care with the athletics and players , they don't help the player to be a professional or to develop his level , there are none high school of sports due to the bad government and commissions ( the Third World ) .

The way that all references to his country are in capitals looks a bit suspect. I read about a scam like that one time, it was always someone local, regardless of where it ended up. People worked it out because all location references were in capitals. Here, it's sort of the same deal.

Yeah. They are quite similar to the pleading letter scams that have been plagueing inboxes for some time now.
