MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 17 (Ticker) -- Kevin Garnett was more than happy to hand the Washington Wizards their first three-game losing streak of the season. Garnett collected 27 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks as the hot-shooting Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Wizards 100-86. Garnett connected on 11-of-20 attempts from the floor for the Timberwolves, who shot 46 percent (37-of-80). It was the second straight game that the Wizards had been victimized by an MVP-caliber performance. Larry Hughes scored 40 points for the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 101-100 nail-biter over Washington on Tuesday.

"We played hard - not necessarily smart - a lot of times," Wizards coach Eddie Jordan said. "It's the second night a great player just took over the game." Wally Szczerbiak led the team with 33 points and seven rebounds for Minnesota, which held a 24-10 margin in assists over the Wizards. Minnesota led throughout the entire game, but held just a five-point lead at halftime. But the Timberwolves embarked on an 11-2 run to start the 3rd quarter and never looked back. Eddie Griffin scored 10 points off the bench for Minnesota who was one of four players in double figures for the team.

"Eddie took a little load off me for a minute there," Garnett said. "He’s been struggling a little bit. It was good to see him find his shot. He stayed aggressive, and with about six minutes left started to move the ball and get some easy shots." Arenas scored 21 points to pace the Wizards, who have lost three straight for the first time this season. Washington shot 39 percent from the field (28-72). "We did a better job closing the game tonight. We completed it," Minnesota coach Dwane Casey said. "Wally and Griffin made a difference. They got everybody going. They also gave Kevin a little more space in the post."

NEW JERSEY, Nov. 19 (Ticker) -- Gilbert Arenas came up just shy of having a career night. Arenas scored over half of his points in the first half and was on track for 50, but he cooled down in the 2nd half as the red-hot Washington Wizards rolled to a 123-106 victory over the New Jersey Nets. Arenas wanted to make sure that his team didn’t lose four straight games and took the game into his own hands. "I was in a groove in the first half and we got 'em," said Arenas, who attemped 43 shots and only made 17. "We just wanted to make sure we kept a distance between them by establishing an early lead."

Antawn Jamison scored 30 points and grabbed six rebounds and Caron Butler added 19 points and grabbed 14 boards for the Wizards, who snapped their three-game losing streak. "Our chemistry is coming together more and more," Butler said. "Guys are getting more familiar and more comfortable with each other's games and sky's the limit for this ballclub." Vince Carter scored a 25 points and Richard Jefferson had 23 and six rebounds for New Jersey, which were without Jefferson during the 4th quarter due to a collision with Jamison. Later on, the doctors announced that he won’t be back, but it wasn’t a major injury.

"Their coach gave them a lot of room this year, so Carter and Jefferson have a lot more freedom and they are a lot harder to guard than they were in the past," Arenas said. "VC and RJ coming at you full speed everytime down the lane so they keeps you on your toes."

Option 1:

Atkins, Ramos and Taylor for McCants, Madsen and Frahm

I think that is ripping off the Wolves far too much, so I probably wont do it.

Option 2:

Jefferies, Atkins and Taylor for Jimmy Jackson, James Jones and Pat Burke

Sorta a bit more balanced, but still seems to be in my favour.

Option 3:

Jefferies, Atkins and Ramos for Pietrus and Foyle

Once again in my favour lol.

Option 4:

Jefferies and Atkins for Garcia and Williamson

This is far mroe balanced I rekon.

Anyway, those are just some ideas, let me know what you think.

I like option no.2 and option no.4 because they seem more realistic. But, I think if you hold on to Atkins so I can get him a little later on in the season, then still try to make the option 2 deal by sending Jeffries and Taylor for maybe Jones and Burke would work out. I want to take a chance on Atkins and let Stoudamire get hurt for the rest of the season so I can experience the play without him. I've been playing too well with him so maybe it'll be pretty interesting.
