xbox 360 Warriors Dynasty - 82 games in 18 days

First, a little about myself. Hi. My name is Haze, I'm 22, and I go to college here in the city (SF). Ive been an avid NBA LIVE from back in the days of live 95'. Back then Indiana was my team and I drained 3's all day with Reggie. Now it is a little different with the next-gen graphics of the 360, but just know I have probably spent more time gaming on nba live than masturbating, and i truly consider myself one of the best all-time nba live gamers in all the world (i kid you not).

There is a chance I may never play LIVE again starting a little less than a month from today (dont ask why), so i've decided to go gung-ho and play all 82 games of a season with my favorite team (my hometown Warriors). Ive set the deadline to Feb. 18th. If my dynasty GSW make the playoffs I guess im screwed, but rest assured the NBA GSW will not.

Being a die hard Warriors fan, I will be quite satisfied with a season record hovering around .500 (think basketball version of a cubbie fan). Ive flipped through a few dynasties here and some people have made some very unrealistic trades. A Bosh/D.Howard frontcourt? Yea, very realistic. To continue with the Warrior's tradition of woeful basketball play, all transactions will exactly reflect the NBA's GSW, down to the injuries as well.

Last but not least, this thread will be used mainly for my own record keeping, so lets try to keep the flaming/immaturity to a minimum. No comments are welcome too :) I want to read back on this thread a few years from now and realize how much of a loser i was, hehe. I'll probably be too busy playing the actual games to post pictures and all the cute little bbc/html stuff, so i hope my incredible sense of wit will carry this dynasty thread.

Now on to the show...
xbox 360
default sliders
9 min quarters
all-star difficulty
(for now, ill switch to superstar after a few games just to get the hang of things)
19'' Gateway moniter :D

i've done some math and I have to play about 5 games per night. this is gonna be tough.

If you were best in the world you would start on Superstar and say it was too easy. Welcome.

i think one of the reasons on the lack of 360 dynasties is this: nba live for the 360 doesnt even have dynasty mode, nor the allstar weekend. fortunately the dunk/3 point contest in last year's live did not overly excite me, but the lack of a dynasty mode in the 360 version is indeed, quite unfortunate.

probably not. if someone can figure out of way to capture screens through the DVI port of my ATI RADEON 9800pro, ill give it a shot. just did a quick google search and found no such capture utilities for the 360, yet.

this is the first time ive started an nba live on allstar. i dont have the luxory of time, and i need to pick up the nuances of this game quick. i'll be on superstar once i start winning back to back games.

ill recind my 'one of the best' statement. but at least top 10%. nba live has been my milk n' cookies for a long time now :)

season mode i guess

if you are truly the best at NBA live EVER.... you will have no trouble whatsoever at starting on superstar, with all the sliders (your own) to below 20, and opponents above 60-70

that said, good luck playing 5-6 hours per night of NBA live... your crazy (Y)
