He barely played, just the end of the 2nd quarter and the end of the 4th. LOL at the commentators calling him Jason Jones though. They did say he is "very verstile." :P But Ernest Fields got dunked on...but he had a nice oop off the glass though.

I'm guessing by "6th or 7th man off the bench" he meant "9th or 10th", but awell. I told you all about Wright... have mercy etc.

I watched. It was all I could stand listening to the commentators swoon over Brandan Wright. I wanted to puke.

Naw, actually I am the 6th or 7th man off the bench. For some reason the coach just didnt play me as much, I think it was because he wanted to play the starters most of the time since it was such a big game or what. He did the same thing when we played Glenbrook earlier in the year who is another nationally ranked team. I actually got a chance to start in the Myrtle Beach Classic and we played teams like Dunbar and Dematha (ranked like no.6 in the nation).

I know he likes to limit his rotation in real big games like this, but I didn't think he wouldn't let me hardly play at all.

Is there dissatisfaction in the ranks? Are you unhappy about court time? Do I have to go to ESPN?

Huh? lol, and I'm not unhappy about court time, he always tells us if something is going right for one player then he is going to stay with that player, its not like I played real good the little time I got in anyway. And the reason why he tells us these things because people actually go to him talking about playing time. It ain't no biggy, I'm going to get more time this week because no one in Memphis can compete with us with the exception of 3 teams and we 8-0 in district play. This week is homecoming week for us and we got 3 games.

Yea really! They're like "Oh My, look at Wright. He is putting on a show here!" (He's got 9 pts and 2 rebs, gimme a frickin break.) Then they're like, "look at him handle the ball, reminds me of Magic Johnson." I'm like "Dogdamn!?!? This guy can dribble behind his back and he's magic johnson? Shaq can dribble between his legs! This guy only had 11 points at half time, surpassed by Derrick Mason on Ridgeway with 13, and they're talkin like Wright has 30 pts and 15 rebounds at halftime. :shake:

lol@artist formerly known as Desmond playing only in games that they'll certainly win. So, tell me more about Wright. His NBA comparison, game, athleticism, everything.

Naw, I don't only play in games that we will win because I played in the Raleigh Egypt game who is no.2 in the city and we lost to them in OT by 3 and I had 19 in that game. That was my time to shine. Plus I was highlighted in the newspaper from an article about that game.

And for some reason, people acted like Brentwood was playing at home, even the PA announcer was from Brentwood or something the way he was acting and they even had music for them when they came out, but not for us.

I didn't mean to insult you or anything like that. Truth is, I would sell dog's shit to play for a team like that. Hell, I would eat shit only to be the waterboy of your team.

My school is just a division 1A, 600 students... our sports teams all suck. When I played soccer we had absolutely no funding ... had to buy practice balls, water bottles, etc. I don't think any sporting event for our school has been televised.

Well today alot of people at school was questioning what the coach did  They was saying he should've let Derrick Mason play more since he was hot and I should've played more along with this other boy name Martino, so I feel a little better now.
