Wow that's excellent... it looks like a photograph or something. Then again knowing me, it probably is a photograph and I've missed something.

Looks great man, other than some texture on the rubber sole it's perfect.

Did you do this completely from scratch or do it over an image? And is there some brushes you made in there, all defaults, or filters?

well i had a picture to refference from but not to allighn it to. first i made the outline with the pen tool.then i used a medium brown color. then to make the texture i used a combo of render/clouds, opacity, burn dodge, add noise and blurring, and sharpeneing and some clone stamp to give the sued feel. i used some brushes for the stitches. for the laces i used the pen tool, burn dodge and a mesh pattern.and to finish it off the reflection i used was a duplicate that was fliped vertically, with a lower opacity and feather. there you have it a shoe made in 35 min's

a great tip is that if you render something make the resolution super huge so when its reduced you get quality.

Looks great. If you can distinguish between the sole of the shoe and where it meets the rest of the shoe, it will be perfect.

Superb job (Y) At first it looked like a real picture. The only thing I don't like, as Colin said, is the shoe's sole, I think it's too plain.
