DEAD DUE TO DBF - CLOSE THIS DYNASTY PLEASE

Postby BOSS on Sun Jan 22, 2006 10:47 am

DBF has fucked up my dynasty once again. Seems like it had something to do with the appereance which I didn't do anything too. I guess I have to start another one and this time I will make a backup. Sorry to everyone.

Toronto Raptors Training Camp

Pape Sow showed everyone watching him that he deserved a spot on this team.
He showed alot of potential versus Rafael Araujo.
Showed his athletism by out jumping Araujo and grabbing those offensive boards.
Araujo had a nice game to on the offensive end too. Shows that he can hit the 15 foot jumper.

Rookie Charlie Villanueva impressed the whole team with his game.
Shooting over Matt Bonner like nothing. Bonner couldn't help but watch all his baskets go in.
He had everything going for him. He was blocking, stealing, you name it.
Matt Bonner had a ok day too. Hittin' his threes and being more aggresive on both offensive and defensive end.

Image Image

Joey Graham vs. Eric Williams was pretty much one sided the whole time.
Graham killed him both on the offensive and defensive end.
Playing a game up to 11, Williams had no points. Didn't even get the ball to touch the net/rim.
Graham was dunkin and shooting on him with ease.
Not only did he out skill him on the offensive end, he blocked and stole his way to win this one on one game.

*Note : After the loss, Eric Williams left the gym without informing anyone.

Darrick Martin and Jose Calderon were warriors out there today.
Martin, recently signed in the off season, gave it all he got vs. newcomer Calderon.
Both had a great offense versus each other and defense.
But Rookie Calderon pulled out with the win with his quickness and speed going to the basket.
Martin showed Mitchell and co. that he also deserves a spot to be a third string PG.

Eric Williams wants a trade

Jan. 16, 2006. 05:55 AM

DOUG SMITH

SPORTS REPORTER

Eric Williams knows this is not the place for him, and he's let the Raptors know, too.

During training camp, he walked out of the gym and headed home. He had not informed no Toronto Raptors official.

Stopping short of demanding a trade, the seldom-used veteran forward said he hopes Toronto general manager Rob Babcock can do something before the Feb. 23 trade deadline to help him out.

"Definitely (a trade) would be the best thing," Williams said yesterday. "I'm still able to play. I've been a starter for 10 years of my career so I know I can help somebody win games. This is just one of those situations."

Williams has been around long enough, though, to realize what he wants isn't necessarily going to happen.

"Who knows? We'll see what happens," he said. "I'm qualified to play anywhere, and you can pretty much get anybody to sit on the bench, any young guy, give him a chance to come to practice, get some reps instead of me being in that position because I'm still able to play."

Williams, rightfully so in a team building for the future, has lost his minutes to Joey Graham, Charlie Villanueva and even Matt Bonner and teams scouting can't see how much he's got left. He's played in just seven of the Raptors' 37 games.

Williams also has an option to become a free agent this summer, a move that would cost him the final year and $4.3 million (U.S.) on the deal.

Thanks X and Mafia. My graphics are ok. I want a new graphic card though. Haha. As for E.Williams and the rest of the Williamses on my team, I would like to put them up in the trade block. None of them are useful and their jus a waste of bench space .

Thanks again. The game was pretty good. Bosh had a great night and rookie Joey Graham dazzled me with his dunks and defense. Contained Giricek to only 9 points and shootin' 3-12.

Another person who surprised me was Pape Sow. Outta nowhere this kid is grabbin' boards and had to big dunks in just 10 minutes. Hopefully he can do this all year for us.

As for Rose and Williams ... I am working on a trade so far. For Jalen, he is staying put a raptor so far. He is doing great so far off the bench.
