GM AND STAFF HIRED

The Orlando Magic have annouced the hiring of a new GM for the upcoming season. David Taylor a unexpected choice was giving the reigns of this team, after a impressive interview and a impecable record as coach and gm for teams all around the world Isreal, Italy and Australia.

Taylor when interviewed said he has been working with Coach Brain Hill in reassembling the team after last years dissapionting perfromance and the lack of direction the franchise had. e Further into his first interview Taylor dropped a bombshell, he and Brian Hill have wheeled and dealed and have a completely new team this year, they have dealt of every player on last years team and signings. Taylor inteded on building around Howard and Nelson but once news travelled to theirs ears they didn't want no part of it and asked to be traded, Taylor complied with their requests. All 13 players where introduced along with the new staff. Mazi Gibson, a journeyman of the NBA coaching sideline was annouced as Assistant Coach. Scout position was filled by Julian Tian and the players health is on the shoulders off Casper Thies.

When asked Hill and Taylor said they were looking for tough, defensive minded team players. They also stated that cap space, veteran leadership and next years draft class is what they had in mind when making moves. Even though the team may not be impressive the pair feel that this team is a .500 plus team and are excited by the mix of young and old players they aquired.

I just went to roster management at start of game and got players i wanted to build around, i tried to make all trades fair and realistic. Only trade that was in dynasty mode was nelson to hawks for their 1st
