what happed with the other awards like coring title assist etc, and how does that work??

Those aren't awards, they're just "titles" people give players when they've finished the season as the league leader in that category. They aren't awarded by yhe league itself.

There's no trophies or awards presented. It's simply a fancy way of saying that a player led the league in scoring, assists, etc. You can see who did that by looking up the Leaders on NBA.com, ESPN.com or CBS Sportsline.

I Think there should be though.

Would that be such a good thing though? With more individual awards, it would probably overshadow the fact that basketball is a team game - and I doubt coaches want their players sacrificing team goals for personal achievements. :)

there'd be no diff

T-Mac is the teams Offense which leads to him scoring point therefore getting the title.......it still in the teams offence and goals.

Ben Wallace is in the Pistons team simply to grab Rebounds, its not effecting team goals.

Kidd is the Nets offense, which leads to leading the league in assists. He gets the team to the top, which is all teams goals.

same with Iverson Stealing the ball, leads to fastbreaks which makes easier points to give team more offence.

same with percentages, shooting a higher percentage makes the teams offense more smooth scoring higher

True. But I don't think there needs to be a trophy awarded to the statistics leaders. It just doesn't seem necessary to me. :)

I hear where your coming from, but i think it shoud le recognised, especially when a guy 5'11 6'0 leads the league yet gets nothing for it.
aka Allen Iverson, he did recieve the MVP in one of those years, but has lead the league in scoring about 3 times i think and steals.

In those situations, more recognition should be given to the player. Whether that's through a trophy or another means is subject to debate. But that's cool, things would be pretty boring if we didn't have ideas to discuss.
