4.26 GHz Computer by Dell

Postby Username123 on Mon Jan 09, 2006 11:05 am

This is a warranted and overclocked 4.25-GHz uber-ninjatastic-wonder-PC from Dell that can impregnate your sister from across the room. I mean look at this: it's a Intel's Pentium Extreme Edition 955 chipset with a HUGE heatsink and—this is the best part—four graphics cards.

As if the extremely overclocked CPU wasn't enough to begin with, NVIDIA stepped in and outfitted the system with two dual-GPU GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB cards, for a total of four GPUs running in SLI mode with 2GB of total on-board memory.

Lordy. Add in some 10,000 RPM drives and a shiny, custom skin and you've got a machine to make doves cry. No pricing, so start saving up your blood bank money.

I don't know much about a computer, but on IGN, they said it was even better than an XBOX360.

It says in the article that a "huge" heatsink is put on to cool the CPU down.

You can see a line going across the case, meaning it probably opens up from there so you can see the floppy and cd drive.

This new Dell is probably better than any Alienware on the market right NOW.

Yeah...I'd still rather build my own computer though. If they can cool it, so can I and for much cheaper...I'll just steal the idea! :D

Never tried...but I doubt it could be too much more difficult. Besides, the smaller space to work with, which would be frustrating as hell. But, other than that I'm pretty confident that I'd be able to do it...

I didn't know having four videos card on the same board was possible. Holly shit technology has really gone mad crazy. I can't wait for a motherboard to have the ability to sit a Pentium and an AMD processor in the same board. That would be extreme! to have the best of both worlds :)

Its not 4 physical video cards, its only 2 running in SLI. Each card has dual GPUs or two processors per card. That system is mad crazy tho
