URGENT! jersey switch request

Postby sucram on Mon Jan 02, 2006 5:48 pm

hey im in dire need of someone thats pretty good at jersey switches to do a few for me. You wouldnt have to do them all, just any of the following players. I am the Miami Heat. I dont care what image or anything you use, but i will eventually crop the image to a 140 by 220 size for my sim league depth chart. Just a reminder, i need them in either the home away or alternate miami heat jerseys.

Al Harrington
Bruce Bowen
Jamaal Tinsley
Derek Fisher
Trevor Ariza
Erick Dampier
Steven Hunter
Beno Udrih
Andre Emmett
Kevin Ollie

Also i have a pretty cool image of Ricky Davis i would like modified if anyone was up for it.

Image

Please help, i would really appreciate it.

That's gonna be quite a challange, I'm not sure if anyone is willing to do that unless you paid them $2 for each switch

The Ricky one doesn't look too bad (unlike his 'fro).
Since it's only for a depth chart of a sim league, I doubt anyone will spent so much of his time to do this for you, but judging by the one you posted you don't need any help. Seems good enough for a depth chart to me.

thanks yeh i think ican see myself improving quite quickly aswell, lol. Just wondering though, i get the feeling im not doing this right. For example, The Arenas one is just Gilberts head on Francis' body and this artest one is on dwight howards, lol...is that how jersey switchs are suposed to be created?

I never noticed the messed writing, i fixed it up...and also done one for artest. I like my artest one a lot its just the number 3 looks a little off. I know his 15 now but i wanted ot take him back to 23, lol...oh and is it just me or does Arenas look like he has a serious chest problem. It looks as if he has bullet wounds, lol.

Well, no, it's kind of cheating to switch heads, you're supposed to white out the entire jersey and then re-create the new one, but what you're doing looks fine, and if you resize them no-one will know the difference

So i have the few orlando ones i did for a guy in my sim league. Then i re-done ricky and fisher for my team. (That fisher one is horrible!) Then i got bored and decided to do jordan playing for teh razorbacks and willie farley playing for the bulls, lol..and last was arenas playing cavs. I have always thought that would rule...any feedback?

Fisher, Artest and both the Arenas look pretty good.
The others are too fake, especially Ricky Davis on Shaq's body.

For real? Wow, then maybe you can fix it by enlarging Davis' head and actually giving him a neck. Right now it doesn't really look human.

hmm i want to do it like that. Im sick of spending ages looking for 2 similar images(head and body). Although im still a little confused. So i get an image...paint the jersey the whole colour erasing the numbers and logos. Thats fine, i can put on the numbers and logos fine but there is one problem. The side bits of ther jersey. I just paint them on with my miami ones. They are noticeably fake. But the miami ones are simple, just maroon with a yellow line. I dont know what i would do when getting to ahrder ones like minnesota or something. What would i do then?

You can use the patch tool, just select the logo and number, or individually with the polygonal lasso, pen tool, etc.. Then get out the patch tool, and drag the selection jersey in a white spot on the jersey, it should overlap the logo with the white on the jersey.

I think there's one around here somewhere ... I know, it's in the Hardwood Classics. It's called 'streetballaz jersey switches' or something like that. There's a lot of bad stuff in there, but there's also some good advice with pics to show. Have fun reading it, it's funny as hell
