aka "Another Laker related thread". Sorry Stevan.

Jackson says O'Neal's no-show not professional

Basically, Shaq didn't show up to the Lakers' exit interview session, nor did he show any interest in showing up, according to Jackson.

No, I'm not saying trade Shaq. I'm not trying to say the Lakers suck. I'm not saying Shaq isn't a good player, or anything like that.

But it does again raise the question a sportswriter asked after the All-Interview team was announced - why was Shaq a member of that team?

*throws up all over Andrew's Lenny avatar*... couldn't find a Laker fan.

and in response to the actual thread:

LAKESHOW 4 EVAAAA!!!!!! GO LAKAZ!!! KOBE AND SHAQ TOGETHER 4 EVA!! HATERZZZ!!!! SHAQ'S KNEE HURTS THAT'S WHY HE DIDN'T GO!!!!

No but seriously, I think they should trade him to the Bulls for Dalibor Bagaric.

Poor Shaq's just tired, and had to get away, after the whooping handed to his team. I guess he didn't feel the need to stick around... he's just a pure rebel. Definately not Police officer material!

Shaq..is..how do you say?..ah yes..a big fat baby. He talks the most trash...with that deep one toned voice "we know what we gotta do..and we the champions..and i'm the big dog..blah blah blah". Then when he's done..he does this corney smile with some teeth that look like he been smoking 20 packs of cigs a day for the last 50 years.

Lakers lost...where is shaq now? Where's that deep one toned voice? I think the guy should go cut another rap record..he might have more sucess there than the playoffs.

HATER!!!!!
I heard "Kazaam 2" was comming out.
If he did make a new rap record, I'd imagine these would be some of the song titles:

"Queens"
"Ain't got no fear"
"Phil's a meanie"
"Ming chinga ling ding"
...and my all time favourite: "Ooga chucka".

adding insult to injury... do o'neal's actions make him eligible for being fined by the league/team??

btw watch out for the lakers next year- big country bryant is boxing & drinking sprite and a bunch of aging all stars will all split the mid-level exception to sign with the team

i'm out like the like the lakers are in the playoffs

Probably not the league, possibly the team...I'll doubt they'll bother. I just found it interesting that Shaq, a member of the All-Interview team, seems to decline these sessions, and isn't always accessible (or audible) in his interviews.

Though I remember one some years back where he ended a courtside interview with "Drink Pepsi". A 7'1", 330 pound billboard.

Has anyone ever heard that bit Howard Stern does...where he plays a long Shaq quote then syncs it with this tone/static noise sound he found that is at the exact same tone as Shaq's boring voice? He fades Shaq's voice into radio static of the same tone and then back out...makes me damn near piss myself laughing every time.
