Hmmm...Scores like 132 and 123...I wouldn't say that they're outrageously high with the like of the Phoenix Suns that averaged 120 last year... however, I do agree if somewhere in between is going to be your norm, then it's best to adjust your sliders and at least pull back the average to about 109 or such...

Amare for MVP...sweet!

Oh, another good indicator if your sliders are out of whack...is if you happen to see that two of your players are like 1 and 2 on the MVP candidate list...guaranteed adjustment request.

Just five more days and I'll be at the Key Arena watching Memphis vs the Supes!(as they call them here) Good updates man...Amare in a Sonics uniform is weird but I wish it were true! Keep writing and we'll let you know if there's a funny line or two that's 'lost in translation'

1 Night 2 Trades

Image
Amazing thing has just happened.Seattle SuperSonics` GM Rick Sund called a press-conference and announced that the teams whole structure has changed.

GM Rick Sund said:
"Today we have traded our two team leaders Amare Stoudemire and Rashard Lewis. They were traded to the folowing teams:Miami Heat(Amare Stoudemire), Los Angeles Clippers(Rashard Lewis). For those two players we got Dwyane Wade(from Miami), Corey Maggette(from Los Angeles).I know you have a lot of questions, but let Sonics` head coach Bob Weiss say why did we did it?"

Head coach Bob Weiss:
"There are a lot of reasons why did we made the trade. The first reason is about that Rashard Lewis said to us that he wants to leave the team because of Amare. He said with Ray he could play different, team game, but with Amare no.The whole team members said the same. That he needs to learn team game not shoot and go like Jordan.Another reason is that we don`t need a player who could carry a team, we need a team which could do everything right. And another reason is Amares behaviour in the team.He likes to be the leader and to talk about others game, but he judges them like they would need to go the D-league.He thinks that everyone is worse than him in everything. So his behaviour is one of the most important reasons why did we did it, but don`t forget the stats and team playing. Now you can ask me questions:
Press agent:What can you say about the new players?
BW:Oh really Dwyane Wade i have to mention that he likes to shoot from mid-range and three-point line, but also he has good driving. He can really great things in our team and i think he will make a contribution in our team.
Press agent:And what about Corey Maggette?
BW:Well he still can improve and we will take 100% out of him.We heard a lot of great things about him and we saw how does he play.We like him very much, if we wouldn`t like him we wouldn`t trade for him.
Press agent:How do you think how much time will they need to earn other players` respect and friendship.
BW:Not very much. The whole community is very friendly and we do respect them now.
Press agent:Are all the players happy about the trade?
BW:Well allmost everyone except Latrell. He will have less minutes...
Press agent:Are you planing any new trades at this moment? If everything goes right we will leave the team the same till the end of the season.Thank you all for coming here, for listening, and thank you for your support.I think the new team members are happy here, promiss you to show high-class basketball in the game against the Clippers.

Guys sorry if I write something wrong, but that was that I wanted to say, thanks.Oh by the way if you see some important mistakes report.

Yeah i just made up the "cool Amare" story for more intresting reason. But for real i traded it because of the stats. It`s hard to play when you have power guy.

Last road, first loss...

Image

SEATTLE SUPERSONICS LOST
108:106
[b]The Game

Last road trip this month and a first hard loss.Well noone could guess that the first loss will be like this.Wade 28 points and missed last buzzer-beater shot.Orlandos key to success was Seattles turnovers it`s a huge be ready, 30!Orlando stole 16 of them.Howard 22 points, Turkoglu 20, Francis 22.The begining didn`t say anything teams were playing evenly and it was hard to guess which will win.The second quarter was more brigthly.Seattle scored only 16 Orlando 31.Francis was on fire.3 and 4 were Howards and Turkoglus.Howard was very good in the paint.Turkoglu got many points from mid-range shots. At the third Seattle woke up.Started rebounding passing more and shooting better. At the fourth it was similar just they needed 1 more three-pointer.Bogut scored only 9 points and that is bad. Why?Where is improvement? He is going down and down. You can`t say that about Chris Paul 17 points 14 assists double-double.But sadly 8 turnovers.Seattle need to spent more time in awareness and passing, even the team plays teamly, but sometimes passes go straight out of the court.Orlando had a good game not a great and that is because Sonics helped them to get the win.I`m not saying that Orlando won just because of Sonics.I`m just saying Sonics can play better.

Box scores:
Seattle

Orlando

Oh my gosh Wade in your Dynasty too! Yeh... He's in The Pursued's Sonics dynasty too... he rocks pretty hard...questionable jumpshot BUT just toss the ball ANYWHERE around the rim and he'll catch that thing and slam it home! WOW! I'm really looking forward to your development of this Dynasty.

...keep the updates going!

Man, you're cool...since you offered some help...man, here goes...that Bob Weiss interview is a trip!

Bob Weiss said:
pauleninas wrote:BW:Well he still can improve and we will make 100% of him.He heard a lot of great things about him and we saw how does he play.We like him very much, if we wouldn`t we wouldn`t trade him.

I feel he'd say more on the lines of this comment:
Bob Weiss:
"Well, Corey still can improve and we know that we'll get 100% out of him. We've seen how he plays and have heard a lot of great things about him. We like him very much or we wouldn't have traded for him."

I might be wrong in interpretation on the first line as that can go either way as I didn't know exactly what you wanted...either that Corey gives maximum effort every night or that the team will squeeze 100% out of him. I chose the former.

Keep up the good write-ups! I say give us 800x600 on the BEST plays and give us only links on plays that aren't quite highlight material.

Comeback isn`t sweet

Image

SEATTLE SUPERSONICS LOST
100:104
The Game

Comeback home was terrible.Sonics did less assits, blocks, etc.You just can`t denie Kevin Garnett if he misses he rebounds it self and dunks back.Well atleast the saw a great play from our rookies.Andrew Bogut 20 points and many rebounds, Chris Paul 19 points.Oh also Dwyane Wade 20 points.Corey Maggette was shooting well in the first half and it seemed he will be the main gun against the Timberwolves. But he started to miss, till he couldn`t make a shoot.Bogut saw the situation and fired up.He was rebounding almost for the whole team. And scoring after the rebounds.Of all the reasons why did Sonics lost you have to mention one thing assists.20 only, 10 assists fell down. Now we can see the real game. Not so much assists isn`t it.Paul likes more to score than pass.Well our team has great players and great chances, but we haven`t yet found our game...

Box scores:
Seattle

Minnesotta

Well...that sucks...does this mean you're still going to at least keep playing your Dynasty?

...and man, I don't think you should stop because of the "non-popularity"... do the thread because YOU like to do the thread.

My personal feelings are if people see that you're dedicated to your Dynasty, they'll come and check you out.

It's like this, just because a team is 2-8 after the first 10 games, they just don't throw in the rest of the season. If you keep at it, new creative things will come, and new ways to express your write-ups. It's up to you, but my vote is that you keep going at it!

keep going with the dynasty (Y)

maybe with your recaps, type them up on Microsoft Word first, so that all the grammar and spelling is correct, it would make them alot easier to read.
