Heat @ Utah

Image Image

It is the start of the NBA season and the first game for the Miami Heat. Miami's first game takes them to Utah to face the Utah Jazz. To see the Heat win over the Jazz, they will need to stop Andrei Kirilenko and also stop Mehmet Okur in the paint. For the Jazz to win all they have to do is stop the trio of Walker, Wade and Shaq. Will Kirilenko come up big with the points or will Shaq and the Heat stop the Jazz. Found out tonight on ESPN at 8:30.

Wade And Shaq lead the Heat to another Victory

This was a fast paced and high scoring game we saw tonight. Shaq came up big with with a double-double which saw him get 20 points (shooting 10 from 20 from the field) and 15 rebounds Wade was the high scorer with 34 (shooting 12 from 19 and getting 10 out of 11 from the foul line) and 6 steals to his name which earned him the Player of the Game. Walker chipped in with 12 points and 8 boards. The Heat started badly with Utah on a 11-2 run with only 2 minutes played on the board. At the end of the quarter Miami was down by 6.

The second quarter showed off the rebounding skills of Shaq controlling the glass with 6 boards. The heat were down by 7 at the end of the half.

The game turned in the third quarter. The Heat were hitting their shots and controlling the glass again with their big man Shaq. The Teams were level at three quarter time.

The last quarter was the turning point of the whole match. Andrei Kirilenko was injured when Walker went up for the Slam. He hurt his arm and didnt come back in the game. The Heat sped away and kept the Jazz to only 9 points for the quarter. The Heat won 73 to 62.

Injury Costs Utah the win

The injury of Kirilenko in the last quarter seemingly cost the Jazz the win. He finished the game with 14 points and would be in doubt for their next game. Giricek finished the game with 22 points and 7 assists, the leading scorer for the Jazz. Williams contributed with 15 points and 7 assists.
Mehmet Okur was held to 4 points and 4 rebounds. The Jazz shot 48 percent from the field while the Heat shot 54 percent. The Jazz will be counting their loses and be moving on.
The Heat face Denver in their next match and hope to bring home the win

Miami VS Denver

ImageImage

Hello Everyone and Welcome to the Before Game Show with Tony Albert.
We will be previewing tomorrow's game between Miami and Denver.

The Heat are coming off a win against Utah away from home and the Nuggets are on a 2 game losing streak.

The main points for the Heat to get over the line are to stop K. Martin, Melo and Marcus Camby. For the Nuggets to stop the Heat, they will need to keep Shaq off the glass and keep Wade from scoring. But the main and suprising figure is Earl Boykins scoring 13 ppg. He will need to be stopped

The Heat Fuel a Comeback But It Isn't Enough

The Heat rallied together and fueled a comeback but they pulled up short by 5 points. The Nuggets controlled the first and second quarters to give them the win while narrowly beating Miami in the last quarter.

V. Lenard put down 25 points as he hit 3 from 7 from Downtown and 8 from 9 from the foul line to earn the Player of the Game Award. Melo with 18 points abd K. Martin with a double-double, 15 points and 11 boards, to give them the win.

Shaq turned up with with 20 points and 5 blocks but only 4 rebounds. Wade dished out 6 assists, stole 5 times and only shot 17 points.
Williams had 23 points and 5 assists.

The Nuggets blew out to an early lead and keep that through the first and second. The main stat was 4 offensive boards in the second quarter and Lenard hitting 10 points in the First.

After the break, the Heat came out firing and put the margin back to only 5. Which went back out to 11. In the space of 26 seconds, 6 points were scored.

The last quarter saw the teams shoot buckets back and forth until the Nuggets hit 3 consecutive shots to give them a 7 point lead. The Heat only managed to cut that lead to five.

The next game for the Heat will be at home against the Portland TrailBlazers.

Ebi Wins it with 0.1 seconds remaining.

On a night when scoring was high. The Timberwolves came and won it on the final second of play when Ebi got a offensive tip in. The game could of gone into overtime if Dwayne Wade scored 2/2 from the foul line before but just came up with 1.

The Heat have put on a offensive exhibition against the Atlanta Hawks. They held them down with defensive pressure and scored many. The Hawks were held down to 39 points and the Heat ran away with a 45 point victory.
