How do you create cyberfaces for created players?

Sat May 17, 2003 8:39 am

Hey guys,

I am diving headfirst into the wonderful world of patching...only problem, I'm brand new at this and have already encountered a little problem...

You see, I want to start creating cyberfaces for the 2003-2004 rookies. For example, my first patch will be Kirk Hinrich. I downloaded a picture of him and created him in the game. However, when I look for a kihinri.fsh file, none such exists. I even imported the .jpg file into the player/faces file and made a create-a-face. So I guess my question is, how do you create cyberfaces for players that weren't orginally included in the game????

You must create the player before in your rosters (Collison, Milicic o James, for example, are not included, obviously, in last nbalive.org roster or in default rosters) and then create the bat file including the info (correct name player, skin color, fsh files and bin files...).
Your Fsh/Bin files will be recolocated in art/ingame/players folder and the new player will have a new face if you've created correctly the files and the bat info.

Hey unoquepasa,

Is there a step-by-step tutorial on creating cyberfaces for Live 2000? I've been using Da-X-Patcher's tutorial, but its for LIve 2001....I think I crashed my game by doing this. Can you hook me up with a link to a 2000 tutorial?

Yes there is one, its made by Pat Lee. Check the list of still active sites that i posted a while back, (I asked for that thread to become a sticky), but the mod never replied.
Anyway that site is one of the few left that are still active.
