Real close game between the Kings and Suns.
I remember the game they played at the end of last season, was a real close and exciting game.

Pistons Take Away Kings Home Opener
The Kings celebrated their home opener with the 6th man gold uniforms. This was their first time wearing the jersey in a season game. Kings fan's were excited to see their team for the first time this season at home but left the game unhappy with Kings losing to the Detroit Pistons 105-85. The Kings who got them selves in early trouble scoring only 16 points in the first quarter failed to come back or lead for the rest of the game. The Pistons took advantage of the Kings poor offensive game early on. Rasheed Wallace had a monster first half with 18 points and finished the game with 25 points. Ben Wallace also had a big game collecting 12 rebounds and scoring 14 points. The Pistons destroyed the Kings in the third quarter scoring 32 points while the Kings were able to score 23 points. Peja Stojakovic struggled in this game scoring a total of only 15 points from 7-19 shooting. He did hit one three pointer in the 2nd quarter but went 0-4 for the rest of the game. Mike Bibby also had an off night shooting 7-18 with 16 points. Shareef injured his knee in the 2nd quarter but came back in the 3rd and 4rth scoring a total of 13 points. The Kings look to regain their loss as they play the Nuggets tommorow.

Kings Fall Short at The Mile High City
The Kings who had lost their home game against the Pistons knew they had to win this game came close but lost it 99-92. The Nuggets also struggling with a 2-2 record after losing only 2 games in the end of last year when they had their run to get them to the playoffs. They played well against the Kings though, outscoring the Kings 23 -17 in the first quarter. Then the Kings sent a messege in the 2nd quarter scoring 29 points with the help of Peja with 6 points in the quarter but were still trailing by three points going into the half. Then the Nuggets seemed to pretty much controll the rest of the game putting 50 points in the scoreboard for the 2nd half. Carmelo Anthony and Andre Miller both put up good numbers with 23 points each but Peja was able to shoot well against the Nuggets scoring 20 points and also hitting 3 three-pointers. Meanwhile Mike Bibby continued to struggle scoring 18 points but going 7-20 from the field. The Nuggets move on to 3-2 while the Kings look to even the series up at Sacramento on Friday against the Nuggets again.

Well I would do that but KT's value is horrible. His rating is 70 and he makes 5 million a year for 5 years. And not to mention he is averaging 4.8 points per game.

Kings Even Things Up With Denver
After The Kings lost to the Denver Nuggets two nights ago, the Kings responded at home and got the win. This time it was the Mike Bibby show scoring 36 points including 4-7 from the three point range and 14-21 from the field. The Nuggets were led once again by their forward Martin with 23 points. The Nuggets were able to controll the game in the first quarter and throughout the second and third but lost controll of the game in the fourth quarter. The Kings were up by as many as 14 in the fourth but gave up the lead late in the quarter by turning over the ball and playing sloppy basketball, while the Nuggets kept their aggression and desire to win cutting the Kings lead to only two. But it was too much Bibby at the end hitting a jumper to get things back their way winning the game 108-106. Stojakovic was the second leading scorer for the Kings scoring 16 points. Tony Battie made his presence early scoring 12 points in just 14 minutes of playing time. Coach Rick Adelman commented on Battie's great performance and said, "I really enjoy watching Battie play, he brings in offense, defense, and the effort to rebound." "You're going to see a lot more of him as the season continues," said Rick Adelman. The Kings look to host the Knicks this Sunday.
