Nice trade, and also realistic...
But Al Harrington as PF, hmm I dunno, I dont like that, but thats just me....and who am I?

You should trade J-Kidd, too old, and get a C like Dalembert or someone better, and then start Antoine Wright at point (Y)

Keep doing what your doing, and I hope the new jerseys u make are good - if u make em. (Y)

Jason Kidd and Al Harrington for Steve Nash and either Stoudemire or Marion if you can, rofl.

Anyhoo, here's the first game update:

NOVEMBER 1 , 2005

GAME OF THE DAY:

PHOENIX - DALLAS 86 - 93 (Dirk Nowitzki 25pts, 10rebs)

NOVEMBER 2, 2005

THE GAME: NEW JERSEY NETS vs. MILWAUKEE BUCKS

High scoring thriller , Nets win in the end....

ImageImage
Carter and Kidd each excelled in their own area of expertise and led the Nets to a win in their opener for the 2005/2006 season

(((PS. Fraps failed to keep screenshots of this game so I had to restart an exhibition game and immitate some of the plays in teh actual dynasty game. Hence teh presenceof Krstic in the second pic... )))

The game started in the same way that it would later prove to end: All offense, not much effort on D. Kidd's passing and Redd's scoring kept the teams close early in the first quarter, while later on it was Kukoc for the Bicks and Cliff Robinson for the Nets who would lead their teams' second unit. The period ended 31 - 30 for New Jersey, courtesy of a buzzer-beating 3 by Uncle Cliffy.

In the second, pretty much the same. Both interior defenses were leaking badly, and big men seemed to score effortlessly. Kidd was doing a fine job orchestrating the Nets' offense, racking up 8 assists, while Redd was scoring to help teh Bucks keep up. Late in the quarter, Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson would pick up the scoring mantle, while Scott Padgett scored another buzzer beating 2-pointer to end the half all-even, at 57.

In the third, the Nets were marginally better than their opponents in teh first minutes and managed to scrounge up a 4-6 point lead, with Carter playing solo offense. It would not last long, however, as TJ Ford's flawless tempo control and Redd's execution from afar had teh visitors leading by 3, 79-82 with 12 minutes to go.

The final period was no different that the first three. High scoring offenses and lacking defenses. Milwaukee scored an early run, spearheaded by Jamal Magloire's hustle on the offensive boards, and wa sleading 92-99 at one point. Then it was time for veteran leader Jason Kidd to show off his earned stripes, and indeed he did deliver. With impeccable organization skills, decisions and scoring drives, Jason helped hi steam regain control and take a 107 - 102 lead with one minute to go, thanks to a crucial jumper made by Vince Carter. The final score was 116 - 109 for the Nets, after a FT contest in the final few seconds.

PLAYER OF THE GAME: JASON KIDD 20pts - 15ast - 4rebs - 5stls - 11TOs - 14/16 Fts

MILWAUKEE TOP PLAYER: JAMAAL MAGLOIRE 18pts - 9rebs ( 6off) - 9/12 FGs

GAME OF THE DAY:

BOSTON - NEW YORK 95 - 91 (Eddie Curry 31pts - 17rebs)

hehe... at least his 11 TOs did not cost us the victory...

I'm a long-life fan of J-Kidd, ever since his rookie year in Dallas. I have to boos him a little... but I rarely use any of those fancy superstar passes...

Nope, just that this year tweaking the sliders for realistic gameplay proved a lot easier. I still have to cut down on TOs, but things are looking pretty good in the sliders department... (Y)

Shit. The dynasty has crashed again... The save game is corrupt... :furious: :cussing: :wall:

I figured out the reason behind teh save game corruptions (some mod files I had installed) and fixed it, but still, this dynasty just died on us...

Okay, I'm not going to quit so easily... Third and last attempt at starting the GOLD dynasty will be up tomorrow...

Sorry for the inconvenience, but your frustration is probably nothing compared to mine...
