Do what I'm doing, hire out a court and spend 4+ hours a day playing.

In other news, my ankle has swollen to the size of a grape fruit.

You should get that ankle checked out, unless you're fairly certain it'll swell down.

My tip was gonna be Jae's as well, but since he "stole" it, my new tip would be plyometrics. Do it 3 times a week, and by the end of the month, your vertical will be better and your quickness will be much better.

 here's another one, put the round orange thing in the large round hoop shaped thing. You and your team will then be rewarded with "points".

Edit: You stole my tip

Yeah it's gone down, my ankle's screwed anyway. I hurt it when I was like 14 and I keep putting off surgery because I don't want to have to walk around on crutches for months. It feels alright now, my achilles is a bit sore though.

Always follow through and give your shot an arch. The highest point should be a little higher than the backboard. Perfect swish.

It's been said before, but practice makes perfect. Remember that it's best if your shooting form is "correct" but needn't be "textbook". To put it another way, I think it's better to be able to shoot "properly" but it needn't be the most attractive form. You should be comfortable with your release.

Hone your skills long enough, they'll become second nature. I know there's a term for that kind of exercise but that's not my area of expertise. I'll leave that for someone else to come along, quote my post and reply with the correct term. ;)

I hit 13 three's in a row today, it was the most comfortable release I've ever had. It felt too natural, almost like I wasn't using any energy whatsoever to do it. Admittedly I then tired myself out running around and shot like shit for ages.

Set up some chairs. You'll soon learn to be able to cut through the lane avoiding contact because those things hurt if you hit them.

Tip #6: Strengthen The Tibialis Anterior.

Here's one many athletes have used with great results. This muscle is located on the shin & commonly referred to as the Dorsi-Flexors. Build these & you will add inches to your jump, eliminate shin splints, and improve take-off quickness. The Dorsi-Flexors stabilize the lower leg allowing maximum take-off force. You won't target this group using the Proprioceptor plugs.

The reason this works is because each muscle group has a counter-balancing group of muscles. You can only be as strong as the opposing muscles, so hundreds of weighted calf raises will soon plateau if you don't develop these stabilizers. One way to start working them, is try walking around on your heels without letting the ball of your foot touch. Do this until you feel a good burn.

Ultimately you're going to have to take better measures! In our complete vertical jump program "bionic jumping power" I'll show you much better ways to develop your shins. The pros use a special devise called D.A.R.D, that will allow you to build maximum strength in the shins.

anyone know how to do this?

Unless you're at the free throw line, I don't know anybody who shoots set shots anymore these days.
