The TNT`s Kenny Smith talks about Grizzlies changes from the last season:
"Well let`s start with the roster configuration.They traded S.Battier, B.Jackson, J.Stakalidis for the Lakers` Von.Wafer, Lamar.Odom, Luke Walton.Absolutely Grizzlies are the more benefiting team from this trade.Of course Lakers` needed a PG and C position players , but trading Lamar no no no.Not good at all.The Grizzlies now have more better team of this trade.Lamar is team-player.He can shoot and has a really great driving abillity.Lamar is playing is SF position.That is his best position.Grizzlies will be making a lot of more assists.And about another trade.Mike Miller for JR.Smith.Well Smith is faster and has a high-flying abillity.He is a normal-good shooter.Mike`s best thing was shooting.So i don`t think that Grizzlies lost very much of the 3-pointers.They have a lot of players to play in the paint and outside.Now about the new GM that was not announced officially, but singed the contract.His name is Walter Hamilton.He is the owner of some Itallian basketball club.But has a great experience of GM`s job.He was a GM of few teams and made a lot of great moves.He isn`t known at all i think.But he is good yes he is."

"I want them to show a great game.Of course to win.But we have a lot of problems on offense and on deffense.Specially offense.I think that Gasol will take the win, but also i think Lamar will be a great one.I`m very excited about the "team rookies".And i want them to show full power."

At the 1st Memphis was hard to play.They made a lot of turnovers and the rebounding was very bad.Mike Fratello said that he saw the worst game at the 1st.Everyone were dissapointed.The 2nd wasn`t that bad.But one thing was amasing!!!After 2 quarters Wade had scored 28 points!!!That was unbelievable he was allmost unstopable.Plus Shaqs rebounds and dunks that was amazing game of the Heat.The crowd was shut down for a while.But J.R. was still playing for the whole team.Damon Stoudamire helped just a little.The 3rd was the revolutionary Memphis took the lead after an amazing game of JR and Pau.The 4th was wonderful.Pau was the clucth for the last minutes.JR was a little too and Lamar really great.They were playing hard and won.But a close win.Gasol got the last shot from three and there were 10 sec`s left to miami.And Haslem missed the last shot under the basket that was soo close.

The game was really bad.Memphis made a lot of turnovers and the worse numbers of rebounds.1st quarter was normal.Magic was dominating in the paint with rebounds.If they miss they get the ball and they score.Fratello was screaming all the time "rebounds, rebounds!!!".Players got much presure.At the 2nd Orlando was going nuts!!They were scoring unstopable.Especially Hedo Turkoglu.He was shooting, driving, dunking, passing.The 3rd was better for the Grizzlies.They were more defending and shooting better.Lamar was a surprise he scored many from down-town and mid-range.At the 4th Lamar was the clutch for the win.Scoring many points and finishing of Magic with a three pointer for an eight point lead.

In the pre-game conference head coach of the Grizzlies Mike Fratello said:
"I think there won`t be any improvements.Even that we worked a lot in rebounding and offensive awarreness.I would be really happy is Gasol would be 100% back and Eddie.Still i think Lamar will help a lot and J.R. as how our GM Walter Hamilton says J.R. is our future.Wish us luck.Cleveland isn`t easy..."

The game at the beggining was really fast and explosive.Hughes was a surprise because everyone thought that he will not be really great because of the great defense by J.R.But still all the stars of Cleveland were playing great.J.R. in the second half was really "UNSTOPABLE" he was runing into the paint and then just dunking no one could stop him.But Lamar was really struggling.Only 9 points and 8 rebounds.Oh really.Memphis improved in their bad things.To compare the last games.Memphis vs Orlando cought only 30 rebounds.Vs Cleveland 44 rebounds.That`s improvement?You decide.And the turnovers were really not seen.I supose that solving the problem took the win.Especially stoping Lebron a little.Lamar got the last free-throw for the win.

ELIMINATION?

The head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies Mike Fratello was invited to the TNT studio at the show called ELIMINATION?.He was invited to answer a few questions about the anoucment that he made afte the game vs Cavaliers.

Kenny Smith:Good evening Mr. Mike Fratello.
Mike Fratello:Good evening.
KS:We are here to talk about the annoucment what you made after the game vs Cleveland.You said that you are really upset about Damon Stoudamire.
MK:Yes.I`m really upset about his stats and team-controling ability.
KS:And that is why?
MK:Well watch Grizzlies game.When we steal the ball or rebound.The starts runing to the other side of the court.Especially JR likes it.It doesn`t matter to him that 3 opponents are there.Then he starts shooting or dunking and misses or looses the ball.It could be better if Damon would slower the attack to the positioning, but he doesn`t do it.Even what I talk about it with him.I`m dissapointed in that.
KS:And you said that you want to trade him...
MK:Yes.But i wanna mention another thing.He makes allmost 8 assists per game.But he makes allmost 11 turnovers per game is that ok to you?Could you show his stats after the 3 first games?
KS:OK.Here we go.We are looking at the stats screen and what do we see?He averanges 7.3 assists per game and has done 34 turnovers per 3 games!!!That`s amazing.So what are you planing to do?
MK:Well we have talked about it with Damon and talked about it With our GM Walter Hamilton.Right now we are discussing with the Chicago Bulls, Millwaukee Bucks, Houston Rockets about the trade.But I think that the trade will be get on with Chicago.

"I`m really excited of this trade and i can`t wait till the game against seattle.We think that Kirk will solve all our problems which were caused by Damon.He`s a great passer and a superb team player.He can shoot very well.He has a great vision of the court and he plays with everyone.He will play in Point Guard position, not in SG like in chicago.I`m really happy of the performance of our GM Walter Hamilton, because if not him i don`t think we would built such team.I promiss you, you will have a great game against seattle..."

It was a great performance of the "team rookie" Kirk Hinrich.He made a double-double scoring 19 points and giving 12 assists.He made 10 turnovers that is bad.But he also got 8 steals!!!That is why he was traded.Even that he makes mistakes it compensates in other things.J.R. was unstopable scoring 34 points.But Sonics` Rashard Lewis was even better scoring 38 points.Allen added 20 points.Lamar was good in his driving and scored allmost all the points in mid-ranges shots.He scored 19 points.The beggining was great for both of the teams.And Seattle took the lead in second with a scoring serie of 15-2.But in the 3rd Lamar, Kirk, JR bring back the lead and extended it to 14 points.From that lead Seattle didn`t came back.Gasol is getting worse worse this time scoring just 14 points and grabbing 5 rebounds, well i`ve got to mention that he blocked 6 shots.The rebounding was really bad for either of teams.But the problem was not grabbing, but to good defense and too good shooting.Both teams stole and blocked many balls.And were shooting great.Both teams had 50% field-goals.

NEXT GAME VS BOSTON CELTICS.AT BOSTON.

Wafer`s great play in OT leads Memphis to another win





In the beggining of the game Memphis was really slow.The first points were after 2 minutes!!!Boston was opposite they started like a bomb exploding all over the place.They were dunking knocking down threes and rebounding.Ricky Davis wasn`t very good from beyond the arc.Oppositelly Pierce.But after Memphis scored the first points everything was going nice.Esspecially Lamar was shooting in a high %.JR wasn`t that good.Still Boston was stealling balls.Kirk did 10 assists and scored few points.Gasol was back scoring 18 points and rebounding 11 balls.He also blocked 6 shots.Lorenzen played a little better.Jefferson from boston was a surprise.Scoring many points and rebounding the most of the team.Boston took the lead in the 3rd and didn`t let go till the last quarter.The Memphis took the lead, but Boston didn`t gave up.Memphis missed 4 of 4 free-throws and Dan Dickau hit the shot in 2.2 seconds left. Then in overtime Von Wafer was a surprise scoring 17 points and making an NBA record in scored points in overtime.He hit one 3-pointer and all other`s were dunks or simple mid-ranged shots.Memphis got and exciting win.

hey guys.I just wanned to inform you about my dynasty`s game reviewing system.I will play and review just like before, all the months` first two weeks games.The other two weeks will be simulated and the results will be shown here.

WAFER AND ODOM COMBINED A WIN IN OT





THE GAME

At first the game was going really fast both teams started scoring fastly and beautifully.J.R. was really bad in the game.It was it worst game this season.Gasol was in his normal shape.James was a little snoozy, but he woke up in the 4th.Hughes was allmost the best in bussiness.Memphis was like the deffensive team of the year.They did 29 blocks and 18 steals.But there was a really big problem.They did 49 turnovers.Mike Fratello was really sad about this.He mentioned after the game:"They were playing with the opponents like with their team-mates."He said like that because they were passing to the opponents hands.The most of turnovers was absolutely done by Kirk.The game was going on fast and beatifully till the 4th.Then the team started playing more slowly.Cleveland took a 19 point lead.But kirk`s and gasol`s unstopable attacks took a tie.Then the job was done by Wafer and Odom.Wafer was just like last game and Odom was really fired-up.They were taking the team to a win.But Pavlovic and James plus Hughes were hanging on.But in the last minutes they could take a shoot, but eric snow made a mistake and Wafer stole the ball passed to Odom and he knocked a three-pointer.There were 1.7 sec`s left and Cleveland did nothing to win.
