Sacramento Kings

Trade Paul Pierce, Kendrick Perkins and Orien Green (65 Rating) for Peja Stojakovic, and Bonzi Wells

LA Clippers

Trade Paul Pierce, Kendrick Perkins, and Marcus Banks (Since "In real life" Doc wants to trade" for Corey Maggette, Chris Wilcox, and Shaun Livingston

LA Lakers

This one is alittle bit lame. I forgot to add Smush Parker on the Lakers, so in the trade they are Desperate for a PG

Trade Paul Pierce, Delonte West, and Marcus Banks for Luke Walton and Kobe Bryant

Trade Paul Pierce, and Marcus Banks for Lamar Odom and Luke Walton

I hope some of those ones help. Just let me know.

Hey DWaever, I was just thinking, why not try somethingdifferant, but a trade that was rumored alot. Pierce for Francis. But then I was like ehhhh Francis has a shit attitude and the Celtics wouldnt do that. I was thinking of some players that kind of have a "Francis Type Game" I was thinking of some Shoot-First Point Guards that could play Shooting Guard

I came across Baron Davis, so I was thinking, would both teams do it? JRich can play SG or SF, Pierce can also play SG or SF. Pierce has 4 more rating points over BDiddy (89-85) But then I thought, Davis is 26, and Pierce is 28. So the trade I came along with is this:

Send Pierce and Reed for Baron Davis. Heres what your lineup could be:

C - LaFrentz/Perkins
PF - Jefferson/Blount/Scalabrine
SF - Ricky Davis/Gerald Green/Ryan Gomes
SG - Tony Allen/Gerald Green/Delonte
PG - Baron Davis/Delonte/Marcus/Dickau/Orien Green

Then I thought, well Celtics are loaded at Point, and Warriors arent with just Derek Fisher. And "Realistically" Doc Rivers wanted to trade Banks. So instead of Reed, send Pierce, Banks and Dickau for Baron Davis and for some scrub, like Tskitishvilli. I think thats a great trade. More than less they get the benifit. You get a younger not really a better player. So now, your new lineup:

C - LaFrentz/Perkins/Tskitishvilli
PF - Jefferson/Blount/Tskitishvilli/Reed
SF - Ricky Davis/Ryan Gomes/Scalabrine/Reed
SG - Tony Allen/Gerald Green/Baron Davis
PG - Baron Davis/Delonte West/Orien Green

I think thats the best trade you can do. Not to mention that Baron can be a Highflyer, an Outside Scorer, and a Playmaker. If I was you I would do that. I hope that idea helps. Just let me know.

Some good trade analysis there shaun, however i still like the Dallas one, IMO Dweaver should try to get youth, or players with a big future ahead.

Yea I like the Dallas one too, who knows maybe he could snake Ben Wallace or Joe Johnson as a FA, but short term, hes f*cked IMO, Ricky's gonna need to put up career numbers with basically no one that can get him the ball like say Andre Miler , or Baron Davis could. Since Delonte sucks in the game. And he doesnt have an affective person to pass to. Josh Howard WILL be good but I think long term he will be good, but even if he gets BDiddy hes still good for awhile. Thats just my opinion

As a Warriors fan, I would never do the Baron Davis trade... Although PP was born in Oakland (yeah, baby 8-) ), I don't think Mullin would sacrifice the new movement East of the Bay for him... Nice idea, though....

Another option, of course, is to wait for the season to unravel a bit and trade PP to a underachieving team near the trade deadline...

Tell you what, whatever it's going to be, I'll decide today. (Y)

Yeah, are you not a fan of P Double?? Cos he brings a lot to your team, i think hes got a real good game, can do it all, my main problem with him was his poor shooting percentages, but hes shooting fine so far this season.

Yea man, whatever you wanna do. BTW did you like any of the trades I came up with for the Kings the Lakers or the Clippers. I think the Lakes one was alittle non-realistic. But I cant wait yo see what you do

I'll stick with Pierce for now, and will consider shipping him off near the trade deadline, depending on his and the team's overall performance...

Stay tuned, first acquaintance with the Celtics organization , and the hiring of the coaching staff...

Boston Celtics' GM Danny Ainge was straightforward today during an official press conference, regarding his team's goals for the season to come:

"We are a young team. The guys need seasoning, and it is the job of veterans like Paul Pierce to show them how to get things done in this league. Last year's late regular season surge to win the Atlantic was inspiring, all the while the loss of the playoff series against the Pacers was vastly disappointing. Thsi is why we have decided to go on, as you people of the media would call it, a 'youth movement'. Antoine Walker has not been resigned, and we intend to give our young up and coming players every chance to show what they can do on the court. In a few words, people: Do not expect us to challenge for the crown this season. Careful steps must be taken in order to ensure that this team's promising future will evolve into the continuation of the franchise's proud history. This year, it's all from scratch. We are following a 3 year rebuilding plan that will make the Boston Celtics one of the top powerhouses in this league once more. Just do not expect everything from day one, people. This is a carefully set plan of action and me and the rest of the team's staff are prepared to execute it to the end, without exemption. So, as a message to all the proud Celtics' fans: Be patient, we are building for the near future... "

OH my 82 games 12 minutes a game! I'm going to see how high your scores are, D-Weaver! Wow, that's like the Dynasty Marathon... I wish you the best...Don't burn out on us :D

Of course you can always Sim games of insignificance..ie Toronto/Hawks to keep you always pumped up. You've created quite the buzz here again... knock us dead with your updates... of course, don't take me too literally as you'd want at least some people to read your thread!

Grrr...

9 games into the season and with half the updates done, power failure while saving and ... yes, that's right, the save file is no more... :furious: (N) :cussing:  :wall:    :miserable:  !!!

I'm not in the mood to play all teh games from teh start, so , you can guess what that means, right...

Looks like I'll have to start my GOLD dynasty now, rather than in February...

Well, stay tuned, and let's see how the Warriors will fare this year... (Y)

save cap, get ben wallace, save more, get some of the younger guys who'll probably want out of their organizations, like Bosh n etc.
