Rose Bowl <USC vs Texas> who's your pick

I'm going with USC but I must admit that Texas is a very scary team. If USC loses I wouldnt be that much surprised. I still want them to win though.

Texas fans are in for a surprise. As much as I hate to say it, they cannot hang with USC. Not in the least bit. Reggie will have an incredible game as usual, and the stingy USC defense will contain Vince Young. This game will prove Bush as the clear Heisman winner over Young. It won't even be that close, USC- 38 Texas- 20

USC.

Let me give you a basic summary of how it goes. If USC finds themselves down 21 - 7 at the half they will do what they have done all season. One pass by Leinart to Steve Smith or another wide out , touchdown. Force Texas 3 and out. Punt return by Reggie bush , touchdown. Another 3 and out...then another touchdown. USC will probably end up winning 48 - 21 like they do every time they are behind. Reggie Bush is what CS:S players call "godlike". It seems that every game this year he has had a spectacular run of 50+ yards. He didn't win the Heisman for nothing and USC will win their "3rd straight national championship".

If this doesn't convince you let me show you this. USC has multiple superstars in Leinart , Bush , Smith , Lendale White , and that sick guy on secondary whose name escapes me. Texas is one man : Vince Young. The talent is overwhelmingly in USC's favour.

And this is coming from a Virginia Tech Hokies fan!

The Big game is tommorow. I'm not a huge fan of college sports but this and the final four are exciting, even if it is shonky how the teams make it here. As for the game, I think everyone is underestimating how good texas is. USC has a once in a generation player, but make no bones about it, Texas has the better quarterback. Vince Young is a machine and can carry texas to victory. I predict texas winning in a shootout, 41-38.

Ohio State got owned by Texas.

Notre Dame got owned by Ohio State.

USC should have lost to Notre Dame.

Texas will beat USC tonight.

Texas is hurting themselves with these stupid fumbles, penalties and dropped interceptions. They are in the right place to make a play they just can't do it.

yeah... lol. i think he wanted to keep that ball going..

man i think the ref should have called the play where young lateraledit, or at least the guys upstairs becasue they have the power to review calls and tell the ref to overturn them and stuff.

and that hit leinert got... damn... he got hit hard.
kind of suprised that USC is playing like this, have never seen them this way while Texas is just going crazy.

this is a good game, this is how a national championship game should be, 2 insanely good teams playing a VERY close game. (Y)

16-10 texas right now.. great game so far...

btw. usc's marching band sucks, they are out of tempo and the sax's are rushing and sqeaking like crazy, and its all mucky and not togather, kinda like how USC was playing in the last 8 minutes

and texas's marching band uniforms.. makes me wanna beat them over the head with a bat.. start the damn 2nd half already

I am beginning to believe that Texas paid those refs some serious money because its been two important plays which went in their favor. Firt, the touchdown where Young was down by contact before he shoveled it out, then the fumble which they called an incomplete pass.

...oh well, I'll just wait and see what happens anyways.

edit: Pretty funny how those two Texas players got bowled over like pinballs on Jarret's touchdown.

Oh well, USC lost. Kinda disturbed that a bad call cost them 3 points and now they lose by 3 points.

There were a few calls that went USC's way (the interception that wasn't called, the face mask that should have been 15 yards). There were a bunch of questionable calls, not just for Texas.

wow... vince young the craziest guy ever....
yeah i kinda agree too, and Texas got some HUGE breaks in that game... too bad for USC..

all i cared about are that the ting's got to play and did pretty decently.

this is probably affect where bush and young are gonna go in the draft if either/both go.

though in the end i dunno what USC was doing, why did Leinhart wait so long?

I dont believe they should have called that facemask in the first place since Texas was getting away with all those late hits. The play where they should have ruled Texas down led directly to a game changing touchdown. Its just a bit funny to me how they were quick to call that interception in the endzone by Texas for review but didnt call an obvious Vince Young down by contact.

But oh well, I wont get into these things because Texas won, I dont know what would have happened had any of those calls were mad, and Vince Young had an outstanding game.
