I could not believe Nate made that shot. I was like "whoa!"

In the words of Clyde, the Knicks showed lots of "wit & grit". I loved the hustle, especially by Frye. I thought he was soft, but he's opened my eyes. Looks like Brown's preaching is starting to sink in.

Nate just dunked it again  . It's funny how over here I know 2 kids that are 5'8 and 5'10 and they both can dunk , and not even they are hyped by the people in this town that know them. Anyways , this was a good dunk , over Posey.Knicks played a horrible game tonight though . I was mad but that dunk made me jump .

Nice to see Nate get a start. Frye started too right? Brown not only playing rookies but now starting them lol
Maybe if David Lee shows a bit more he could start over Antonio Davis and that'd be 3 rookies starting for brown :D

Sorry about my earlier post , it was in the spur of the moment . Good game played by the Knicks , came back in the begining of the fourth quarter . Crawford played amazingly good off the bench , but Q didn't even touch the floor . (Y) (Y) to the knicks . Good dunk by ariza on nocioni :-D

I look at this year as a learning season for the Knicks. Once the players get used to Larry's system, and when Brown brings in more of "his guys", Knicks could make some noise in the future.

I don't care about playoffs(they're not ready to contend anyway), as long as I see the young cats develop.

Actually , I do care if the knicks make the playoffs . We are not contenders , but I don't want to regret trading that pick to Chicago , if we wind up with a high pick , I'll be really mad . Plus I just want to get Bulls fans mad , so I wish the knicks get a really high pick.

bulls fans shouldn't get mad- getting the 1st round pick was good enough. t will be a nice bonus if the nyk pick turns into a top ten pick :)

We lost , but I didn't expect it to be this close . Good effort by the knicks , Butler looking good except for those two missed FT's by him . Anyways , Highlight of the week , Ariza over Big Ben . I'm still hyped over it . A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

That dunk was awesome...definitely worth watching over and over again. Frye impressed me too, should be a pleasant surprise for Knicks fans after what seemed like some hand-wringing after draft day.

why nate robinson shoots the 3 when crawford, richardson, and even marbury are better 3 point shooters than him :?:

i could easily tell he is raising Larry Brown's blood pressure with silly things. He has a lot to learn for sure

Yes toast , wants to be the hero . He was like 5 feet behind the 3 point line as well . Dissapointing loss . What do you think about Jackie Butler ??

I think they should have went to either Crwaford, Frye, or Marbury there.

Crawford: he was cold because he just came in the came, but he's our best 3-pt shotoer
Frye: he hit a 3 earlier and he's our best shooter
Marbury: was hot then and can hit the 3

Q'd be another option, but he's struggled from the 3 as a Knick.

DoobieKnicks wrote:What do you think about Jackie Butler ??

I think he sould be starting at Center and we should trade both Eddy Curry and Jerome James. The offense and defense both stall when either of them are in the game.

They get like one or two baskets a game, but allow far more.

Also, Antonio Davis shouldn't be starting and I'd probably trade him too. He does alright defensively for us some times, but he's an offensive liability.

I think the starting line-up should look like this:

C- Jackie Butler
PF- Channing Frye
SF- Quentin Richardson
SG- Stephon Marbury
PG- Nate Robinson

and Jamal Crawford, Trevor Ariza, and Malik Rose off the bench (Any 3 of which can start depending on the match-ups)

needs to play more but he is looking good so far. He could end up like Matt Barnes though. Gets playing time, and then released.
Curry ain't playing to his full expectations right now and Jerome James still has more fouls (15) than points (11) and rebounds (9) so he got a good chance at staying around and earning more time
