Sixers team physician Dr. Jack McPhilemy will assist on the procedure. There will be no further update until after the surgery.

Philadelphia 76ers restricted free agent guard Willie Green underwent successful arthroscopic left knee surgery today at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. The 75-minute procedure was performed by Dr. James Andrews of the Alabama Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center with Sixers team physician Dr. Jack McPhilemy assisting on the procedure. Green is expected to miss six to nine months and will begin rehab shortly.

"There's no substitute for competing... when I was playing, training camp was about competing. As a coach I believe It's about showing what you've learned in the offseason and the previous year.
