76ers restricted free agent guard Willie Green is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic left knee surgery on Tuesday, Aug. 16, in Birmingham, Ala., by Dr. James Andrews of the Alabama Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. Willie Green Undergoes Arthroscopic Left Knee Surgery

Philadelphia 76ers restricted free agent guard Willie Green underwent successful arthroscopic left knee surgery today at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. The 75-minute procedure was performed by Dr. James Andrews of the Alabama Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center with Sixers team physician Dr. Jack McPhilemy assisting on the procedure. Green is expected to miss six to nine months and will begin rehab shortly.
