That is true, but remember what type of legal system is in america. You have to be proven guilty. You dont have to prove your innocence, you must be proven guilty. The Celtics also had a better all-round team that had been together and retained the same coach for more than 1 season. The Lakers had an entire core of new players and had all sorts of coaching dramas. Compare them after this season and we'll get a more accurate picture.

Accually, that was Docs first year as the Celtics head coach. And what makes u think having a better overall team helps Pierce shoot, rebound better and play better defense? And the Celtics had a whole new core of players too, maybe not as much but they were up there.

Kobe is a better scorer, passer, defender, and player in general. Pierce is good, but he's not even better than Tmac, Wade and Vince.
