Your presentation is the best on here, good job.

As for the Hill/Rose trade I say go for it. (Y)

Mon Nov 07, 2005 5:50 am

hill for rose... hm.. though i extremely hate jalen rose.. i would say keep him because hill is old, injured prone... not much effective, and rose has good height as scorched me last time. so keep him

Recap

Toronto vs. New Jersey

Nets 99, Raptors 96

TORONTO -- With a sweet swish as the clock neared zero, Vince Carter picked the perfect way to say "Good Riddance Toronto"

Former Raptors Vince Carter made a grand return Friday night, as Bryant hit a long three pointer with 1.6 seconds left in the fourth quarter to lift New Jersey to a 99-96 victory over Toronto in Carter's first game in Toronto this year.

"It was an unbelievable shot, maybe the best shot I have evr seen in my life." said Jefferson

It wasn't just Vince Carter who help this team to a victory, it was a Richard Jefferson who had a great game with 29 points, 15 rebounds and 6 rebounds. He went 10-20 on the field and 1-3 beyond the arc.

Carter added 27 points in his second regular-season game in Toronto since being traded to the Nets last December. Fans booed the six-time All-Star every time he touched the ball.

"It's beautiful. It doesn't bother me at all. I enjoy it," Carter said.

Rookie Joey Graham lead the Raptors with 22 points shooting over 60% on the field. Also chipped in with 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 1 block.

Toronto's Jalen Rose had 17 points and Forward Chris Bosh added 17 points and 8 rebounds.

"Richard Jefferson had a phenomenal game," Rose said. "He was attacking the basket and knocking down shots.""But as for Carter, that basket was bullshit."

Peterson's driving layup gave Toronto the tie with 1.6 seconds left in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough to hit that buzzer beater by Vince Carter.

GM ROB BABCOCK DECLINES THE TRADE

Image

After the loss to the Nets, General Manger of the Toronto Raptors Rob Babcock reported to the press that he will not be accepting this deal.

"As you all have been waiting for a reply, I would like to decline this trade. Grant Hill is a great player no doubt but we aren't in need of a Forward right now. I know he is an All-Star but he isn't what we are looking for right now. Another reason why I declined the trade is that he is injury prone as you know in his past."

Raptors have been trying to trade Jalen Rose for the past year but we have seen no deals lately.

Yes that was Calderon. I was the controller too  I had no idea he would make it though ... who would of thought Carter making like a 30 ft Jumper less than 2 seconds. I was shock and stunned, I couldn't believe he got that in.

Mon Nov 07, 2005 6:22 pm

I love the graphics, but your team needs a little work even though its early in the season. Joey Graham has been showing signs of becoming an instant ROY canidate.

Tue Nov 08, 2005 11:17 am

Oh tough losses man (N) Good you declined the trade. Nice pics also.

Tue Nov 08, 2005 12:51 pm
