Create A Player does not let you give stats?

Why when you try to create a player in NBA Live 2005, you can create his appearance and all that stuff, but you can not put his stats up. I created a player for my dynasty and I've yet to put him on the court because he is a 48 overall. I've even tried editing the stats outside of dynasty mode and it still does not let you. Could somebody please give me an answer to this soon. Thank you.

Do you mean his ratings, or stats? You can give players ratings when you create them, but you can't edit ratings in dynasty mode.

How is that possible that EA Sports would do that? There is no possible way I can make my player better? Then why would anyone even create a player?

At the create a player screen you can give your player the ratings you want

If you create the player outside of dynasty mode, you can give him ratings, but in dynasty mode you cannot edit players ratings through the game. You can, however, go into players.dbf in your dynasty save folder and edit whatever ratings you want.

yall must be confused...im doing this all on my playstation2...nothing to do with the internet...or computers...i don't even know what you just said

You make it seem like the majority of ppl here play the game on a ps2. Mostly PC users in here buddy.

Okay that clears everything up. The only way you could edit the ratings is if you create the guy before you start your dynasty.

the way to edit ratings on create a player on the ps2 is to go in to edit player pick ur player then got to his information and hit ur L1 button that will take u to his ratings
