Postby German Wings on Wed Oct 26, 2005 1:15 am

Hi there!
My name is Simon and i am from Germany, so please tell me if the things i write are not correct or if you dont get anything!!!
I am planning to start a dynasty with the Orlando Magic but i am not that convinced of taking the Magic! if someone has a better suggestion of taking a club please tell me!
But first of all i have some questions:
1. How can i take videos of games and then post 'em here??
2. How can i take screenshots of the scoreboards OUTSIDE the game in
the manager menu?
3. I ve created a new revised roster that should be up to date. and i
would like to post or publish it as well to get feedback bout it, as
well. :?:

That shall be enough of asking thus far.
After having chosen a team and started a dynasty i will inform you about everything important which is connected to my dynasty and its development. I plan to inform you all with:

Set goals for season
Recaps
Boxscores
Screenshots
Trade reports
Injury reports
Offseason activities
and videos as far as i am capable of doing it

Last but not least a very important question!!!!
Of course i want the stats to be realistic. But i am not sure how long a quarter should last and how to handle with the game, personal and computer sliders, so that a good stats come out. :?:
If anyone knows how to do it please inform me!

If i could please you for a very last thing, it would be to tell me what my english is like because speak it as a foreign language.

Now thats all i m looking forward to reading your replies upon several questions! :D

Bobcats have been taken in this forum check it !!!
I do like the Magic but ist i dont know how to put it into words but i am not sure if i should dedictae a whole season to that team, especially because francis and hill dont belong to my favourite players in da game! But i dont know which team to take. I am thinking 'bout em new jersey nets!! i think the are hot (as long as everybody stays healthy) but they got the most worst bench in thze leage!!!!!!

SUGGESTIONS about alternatives are always welcome!!!!!! :D

But please no suggestions after thursday because this is gonna be the date of beginning(more precise: beginning ofsome free agent tryouts and training camps, and preseason......) so they wouldnt alter my decision!!!

ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION:!!!!!!
I wanna have a quarter length of about 7-9 minutes i am not sutre what is best. But.... i havent got an single idea how to set-up the game sliders, especially not the
distance shots
middle range shots and
shots in the paint
please someone help me!!!!!!

Thx in advance!!!!

Don't take Magic. Take the nets. They are a grat team with excellent shooters and a nice frontcout. Kidd is one of my favourite player in the leage. So take the Nets and make them champion :D

NETS SEASON PREVIEW & PLAYERS INTRODUCTION

This is the official season preview and player introduction of the NEW JERSEY NETS 2005/2006!
The seeded goal is, of course reaching the playoffs but we are all convinced that a depp run is possible under the condition that everyone stays healthy. We could keep the core of our team with VINCE CARTER and the again well-ups RICHARD JEFFERSON and the best Playmaker in the league JASON KIDD and the Serbian kid NENAD KRSTIC.
The most important players that are new to the Nets are Center MARC JACKSON who played 2004/2005 for the Philadelphia 76ers, PG JEFF McINNIS coming from the Cleveland Cavaliers, SCOTT PADGETT from the Houston Rockets, LAMOND MURRAY coming from the Toronto Raptors and the much-promising Rookie ANTOINE WRIGHT from the TEXAS A&M.

Now to the Player in in detail:

VINCE CARTER

He is one of the most spectacular players in the league! He is a Highflyer such as the league has never seen. Besides that since joining the nets during last season he made 27,7 points 5,9 rebounds adn 4,7 assists!! These stats are nearly those of an MVP. He is the leader in the team he almost is the FRANCHISE. He cheers everyone in the team up and is always capable of putting on a 30-pints-game if necessary.

RICHARD JEFFERSON

Unfortunately Richard had been injured a very long period during 04/05, only playing 33 regular season games. But the stats he brought before being injured were great! He made 22,2 point, 7,3 reb and an additional amount of 4,0 assists! But now he is again healthy and he and surely we all hope and expext him to contine playing on the same level as before his injury.

JASON KIDD

Although being already 32 years old, he is still one of the best and suprisingly quickest guerads in theleague. His abilty to lead a team, to know when to pass, when to score is nearly unique. with a high of just 6''4
he is still a outstanding rebounder with 7,4 board 04/05. he will lead the team into the playoffs and turn hopefully himself, Richard and Vince into allstars (in case of Carter MVP maybe!).

NENAD KRSTIC

He is a very talented 22 year old guy from Serbia & Montenegro. Coming back from the Eurochamps 2005 in his native country he will be in grat shape and perhaps he is able to resume to his playoff stats in the series against the Miami Heat where he made 18,5 points in averange against Shaq!!

Marc Jackson

Marc Jackson is a respectable Center/Power Forward, who will allow Nenad to play more PF than C. He is comong from Philadelphia but he had played in Europe before, too. In 04/05 he averanged 12,0 points and 5 rebounds. he is know for his strengh and his force and hopefully he will wake enemy guards become afraid of driving into the paint.

ANTOINE WRIGHT

The 6''7 big Antoine comes straight from texas A&M where he made 17,8 points, 5,9 rebounds and 2,2 assists. he is 21 year young and will be a steady-going backup for Vince or Richard because he can play both guard and forward.

JEFF McINNIS

Jeff McInnis is a good backup for Jason Kidd. He is an experiencd player and comes from the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he had an averange of 12,8 points, 2,1 reb, and 5,1 assists.

CLIFF ROBINSON

Cliff is an old (38 years)veteran. He will get his minutes from the bench. As he approaches to the end of his career he wants to complete a godd season and maybe becom champ. He is will be backup for Nenad.

JASON COLLINS

He is the clear-cut backup for jackson and will get his chances to prove that he is a good center despite the critics. Being 26 years old his time is due to come and i am confidend he will succed!!

Scott Padgett

Scott is a 29-year old shooter and will help on the positions PF/SF when Richard or Nenad are on the bench.

LAMOND MURRAY

He is an 32-year old shooter just as Scott Padgett but he is not that tall. He will give Vince and Jason Kidd some time to recover.

further players:

Jacque Vaughn
Zoran Planinic
Ben Handlogten

So far with the team introduction!
A Pic with the starting lineup will be published in course of this day before 5.00p.m.
A First Preseason Game will start tonight 8.00p.m. @ Philadelphia. ESPN will show the highlights at 11.30p.m.

.::PREPARING FOR CHAMPIONSHIP::. NETS RECAP NOW!!!

Postby German Wings on Fri Oct 28, 2005 1:03 am

1st TEST for the Season: PRESEASON GAME

Image

It was a sucessful beginning into the 2005/2006 season!
The Nets defeated the struggling 76ers with 122-106.
Tonight best scorers were Andre Iguodala with 21 points for the 76ers and Richard Jefferson for the Nets, scoring 20 points.
After a tied 1st quarter (25-25 points), the 76ers trailed by 8 going into half-timebreak(54-46).
By that point the 76ers werent able to overcome the deficit any more. in opposite they had a horrible 3rd quarter at the defensive end, where the Nets dropped 42 points on them with a field goal percentage of 0.80!!!!!
The quarter ended 42 to 33 for the Nets, who already looked like the winner. this was also the reason for the Nets to decrease their defensive effort and to let things roll like they rolled.
the 4th quarter ended 27 to 26 for Piladelphia but it didnt matter to the whole game.
The supporters of Philly were very disappointed by their team. they never looked like wanting to fight back into game! Especially AI seemed to be absent-minded. His effort with 13 points, 10 assists and 10!! TOs was one of his weakest in his career so far.
On the other side Cliff robinson showed hos A+Game getting 16 rebounds he played like being 20! Additional to his boards, he made 9 points and distributed 4 assists.
None of the players had more than 25 min in game because the coaches kept rotating a lot.

Further important player stats here:
Dalembert, 10p, 8reb, 4bl, 5/5 shots
Webber, 14p, 10reb, 7/11 shots
Krstic, 6p, 7reb
Padgett, 17p, 6reb
Carter, 11p, 10 minutes
Jackson, 13p, 4reb, 4as, 5/15 shots
Jefferson, 20p, 5reb, 2as, 4st

Thanks nbalive744. I m gonna look at other's dynasties!!!
But hey gerneral question:
Although the Regular Season hasnt started yet, i am thinkink about tarding cliff robinson and maybe vaughn or someone for Gerald Wallace or for J.R. Smith.
Then my starting lineup would look like this:

In case of trading Wallace:

C-Nenad Krstic
PF-Wallace/Jefferson
SF-Jefferson/Wallace
SG-Vince Carter
PG-Jason Kidd

In case of trading Smith:

C-Nenad Krstic
PF-Richard Jefferson
SF-Vince Carter
SG-J.R. Smith
PG-Jason Kidd

What do u think????

SEASON OPENING GAME vs. G.S. WARRIORS: STARTING LINEUP RELEASED!!

The starting lineup for the official season opening of the Nets has been announced!!
The Nets will start with their best lineup:
C-Jackson
PF-Krstic
SF-Jefferson
SG-Carter
PG-Kidd

Coach Lawrence frank also said that he was goning to rotate just like he had done against the Philadlphia 76ers.

The last test before starting into the Regular Season will be the third and last
Preseason Game @ Houston rockets.
"The game against the Rockets will show, if we are able to play good ball against a team that has a huge and talented Frontcourt.
They got Yao Ming, whose skills have been improving constantly since coming into the league and who is willing after his o-tone to put on a 20+/10+ season. besides him there is the banger Stromile Swift, an enourmously athletic and skilled player. He describes his season goals with doing a deep run into the playoffs and becoming all-star.
then the Rockets got T-Mac, no necessaty to talk about him, and as PG rafer Alston a streetballer with dead good shooting abilities.
We have to play perfect D to handle this versatile team!", summarizes Nets coach Lawrence Frank.

The game is fixed for saturday 17.00p.m. @Houston.

SUCESSFUL SEASON OPENING FOR THE NETS

THE PLAY/DUNK OF THE GAME J-RICH

Image

It was a sucessful Season Opening day for the NEW JERSEY NETS. They introduced themselves to their fans with a great highscoring win with 136-128 after OT.
with 14 seconds to play in the 4th quarter and a 3-ponit-deficit the Nets already looked like being the looser, but then Vince carter pulled it off from downtown and the game was going into OT after the Warriors weren't able any more to score in the left 12 seconds.
And this Ot went straight and clearly to the NETS with 18-10 points.
It appears to be starnge that there is no real " Player of the Game" but the team scored all well. Topscorer of the whole game was Jason Richardson, pulling off a 33-point effort. Marc Jackson suprisingly was the best scorer for the Nets with 22 points, followed by Richard Jefferson with 20 points and Carter and Krstic (18, respectively 17 points).
In general the gameflow was often being interrupted by hard fouls which seemed to be ruder than it is common in Preseason Games. Both teams didn't allow any easy hoops in the paint which is underlined by 38 free-throw attemps of New Jersey and 28 of Golden State.

Image

A proof of the very hard defense in the paint.

Here the box scores of the game:
