1 On 1: AI Versus Louis Williams

Philadelphia 76ers Guard Allen Iverson asked his fellow teammate guard, Louis Williams, to play a game of 1 on 1. Louis Williams accepted and they were ready to play 1 on 1

Image

Game Summary:
Louis Williams showed us a hell of some potential when he played AI. His best feature that we noticed was his ability to take charges, he sacrificed his body so many times during the match, that impressed us alot. We also noticed his defense has improved so much in his transition from High School to the NBA. Did I mention his Offense has so much better execution, he improved his shooting, and dribbling? How is that for improvement! Keep it up young fellow, you got a lot of work ahead of you

Sixers Pre-Season

Hello everybody, I am Mark Zumoff, and this is Steve Mix. We hope you will be here to watch Comcast Sports Net as we watch our Sixers take on the Boston Celtics!

This should be a great matchup Steve, both have equal strengths and weaknesses, I predict this will be Sixers 103-99

Maurice Cheeks spoke to me about his roster, he said he did not anounce his bench player yet, because he is still unsure of them.

We will take a quick commercial break, after that we will anounce the starters and tip-off!!

[Insert imagination for commercials here!]

Well we are back at the Wachovia Center! And here is the announcer to tell us the Starting Lineups!

Starting at Guard! Number 3-Allen Iverson!!!!Image

Starting at the Other Guard! Number 9- Andre Iguodala!!!!Image

Starting at Forward! Number 26- Kyle Korver!!!!Image

Starting at the Other Forward! Number 4- Chris Webber!!!!Image

Starting at Center! Number 1- Samuel Dalembert!!!!Image

Now that we know the starting lineups, lets go to the court where the tipoff is thrown in the Air!

Image

The Sixers have won the opening tip-off!

First Quarter
In the first quarter, the Sixers got possesion and Allen Iverson quickly nailed a 3! Then on the way up the floor, he stole the ball from Delonte West and quickly and ran the floor for a lay-up! In this quarter, the Sixers got it going early, taking a 7-0 lead, but the Celtics quickly countered to make it 6-7, then the Celtics started falling apart offensively, taking poor shots, their defense was very good, but their offense was terrible, next thing you know, the Sixers are up 12-6. The Celtics responded and tied it 12-12, this looks like its gonna be a close game of runs! The whole quarter was just like what we predicted.... A close one. At the end of the First Quarter, the Sixers were down by 2, the score was 20-22

Second Quarter
In the second quarter, the beggining was just pretty much even, exchanging shot for shot, block for block. Steven Hunter blocked Ricky Davis. But after that, the Celtics went on a run, adn they were up 30-22! The sixers quickly called a time-out, subbed some people, and tried to regain their confidence. After the time-out, Samuel Dalembert quickly scored a 2, things were looking up for the Sixers.....or so they thought, the Celtics quickly answered back with a dunk from Paul Pierce, the score was 35-24 Boston! Korever tried to get it closer by attempting some 3's, but to no avail! Dalembert looked like he was gonna try to bring the team back by himself. The Celtics wouldnt let him, for everything the Sixers did good in this quarter, the Celtics answered right back. Dalembert kept trying to bring the Sixers back yet again, but once again the Celtics not letting up. Korver finally hit his first 3-pointer, right in Paul Pierce's face! Ricky Davis answered right back with a 3-point play of his own. After that, Davis drew a couple more shooting fouls to extend the Boston lead even more! The score is 50-33 "This is getting out of hand!" said Maurice Cheeks, he called a time-out and tried to settle things. After the timeout, Dalembert had a few more baskets, he cut the lead to 50-37. But at the end of the Second quarter, the score was 40-54.

Key Players at the Half

Sixers-Allen Iverson

Halftime Show

Hello, Welcome the the Sixers Comcast Halftime show. We will be talking about how good the Sixers played today, and what they have to do to win this game. We will do the same for the Celtics

Sixers- The sixers need to pick up some defensive intensity, and be very aggressive, they also need to play zone, because they have been giving up way too many rebounds. The Sixers played pretty good in the first quarter, but they played terrible in the second quarter, that what killed them, they will need to play exceptional if they plan to come away with a victory here in the Pre-Season

Celtics- The Celtics played very good both quarters, but the second quarter is where they really played good, if they plan to come away with a victory, they need to keep up the way they played in the second quarter, and they will be fine for the rest of the game.

Alright back to Steve and Mark for some Third Quarter Coverage!

Third Quarter
In the first seconds of the third quarter, Korver quickly hit a 3! Then Iverson dived for a loose ball and got it to C-Webb for the easy deuce, running up the floor the other way, Iverson steals the ball and throws up and Alley-Oop for C-Webb, The Sixers are on a 7-0 Run! Looks like a good sign for the Sixers, but the Celtics quickly go the other way for a monster Ricky Davis slam! Then the Celtics got another easy basket, this time a dunk by Paul Pierce, the Sixers call a time-out to try and settle things. After the time-out, Iverson got a 3-point play that got the crowd out of their seats! But the Celtics answered back. Korver answered back with a 3 of his own. It seems to me like this quarter will just be tit-for-tat, but lets see what else happens in this quarter. Korver hits another 3! Wow Ill tell you, Korver is showing some signs here, we all know that he can hit 5 or 6 in a row, this seems like the time! On the Cetics possesions, the Sixers never let the Celtics score, but they always get offensive rebounds to get a second chance, I think Mo Cheeks will call a time-out here to start playing some zone. Yes, he did call a time-out. Lets see what he can do to help the Sixers come back and win. Allen Iverson is going crazy!! He just scored and stole the ball from Delonte and scored again! Iverson finally misses but Iguodala is there to tip it back in! The Celtics are on a mini-run, but Chris Webber scored to end the run. With 45 seconds left in the Third Quarter, the Sixers are on a run! The score of the game after the Third Quarter Is 70-75!

Fourth Quarter
As the Fourth Quarter opened, the Celtics quickly scored a deuce. Coming back the other way is C-Webb drawing the foul and connecting on both free throws. This quarter seems like it will be another Tit-for-Tat quarter. It is still tit-for-tat as we move to the 6 minute mark! Iverson is put back in the game, and he provides a small spark for the Sixers, you can see that the momentum is starting to lean towards the Sixers, which results in a 6-0 run! Make it an 8-0 run from a Michael Bradley dunk! The run is finally stopped by a ferocious dunk by Tony Allen. It is starting to become a Tit-for-Tat again. Not anymore, at the 2 minute mark of the game, the Sixers are going on a Rampage run! They look to be in good shape to come out victorious. The Sixers run only continued until the end of the Pre-Season game. the Sixers came out victorious, due to outstanding performance in the Fourth Quarter, the Final Score was Sixers-96 Celtics-92

Sixers Post Game Show

Hello, I am here to review the game with a post game analysis. I think the Sixers played pretty average in the first quarter, just like a regualar team would, but in the Second Quarter, disaster struck, the Sixers couldnt execute on Offense, nor Defense, they gave up way too many shots, and they didnt show any effort at all. In the Third Quarter, the Sixers played very well, playing good defense and having good offensive and defensive execuation, they got a lot of easy shots, and the Celtics didnt get many easy ones, thus the Third being a very good quarter for the Sixers. In the Fourth, the Sixers just went absolutely nuts! The whole quarter was like a huge run! And it didnt stop! The Sixers outplayed the Celtics and came out victorious, I think their first half wasn't very good at all, and their second half was downright amazing! This is Josh signing off, and we hope to see you next time for the first Sixers Regualar Season Opener Debut game, come get your tickets now!

Depends on the pics and shit

WOW, very detailed game summary. Keep it up man (Y)

Yeah doing these dynasty reports and playing the games takes a lot of time--shoot it takes me about an 45 minutes to play and capture pictures, then another 30 minutes to make the pictures--then maybe another 20-25 minutes to post it on here. It takes me about 2 days now to do all that. It'd be nice if NBA Live had a save the game option--that'd save me alot of time. (Y)

Yep, kinda same with me, except I play the game for about 30 seconds-2 minutes, if something good happens, I minimize the game and write what happened, I usually do 6 pics each quarter, 3 pics for the opposing team, and 3 pics for me. Except I don't use fraps, I just press F12 to take the pics, open them up on photoshop, and re-save them as a .gif file.

Feel sorry for ya X. But don't feel to bad, I dont have much time either, You see my scholl is on strike for the next 3 weeks, so I have plaenty of time to spare, but when school is back, I will have to do this only on the weekends. Your dynasty inspired me, so did cocobee's, I really want to look at all the dynasties here, and suck the good stuff out of every single one of em, and try to do that on mine.

brad feet wrote:yeah, i wish i had alot of free time too..... nice pre-season recap there 744.... lol at delonte's pic... besides that, all is good..... keep it up.....

Weekends=Usually free time, Thanks for the comments. It was fun playing them because it looked like Delonte was wearing some huge body sock.

jxuusa wrote:lol great pic. for me, i take like about half an hour to an hour wasting time to do this.

Good to see the pictures are good for you, cuz I got a crappy GeForce 4 MX. And some people are much quicker than other, I will check your dynasty out and see if the work looks like half an hour work.

If cocobee says something good about you, you know you are doing something right  . 45 minutes to play and capture pics, well that isnt much for me, my post wasn't all at one-time, I saved the post on notepad, and I went back to it the next day. 2 days of effort really shows for your dynasty.

The X wrote:amen to the save game option....I always seem to have a half hour spare here or there on weeknights but it is never enough to play a whole game....would be nice to have a save game option....

ditto to that, When I played the game, I played the first half, but then I didnt feel like doing the rest, so I closed the game, then I just played the first and second quarters, and added the scores up.

Thanks for the good comment Sam, no one really hates on me much, cuz I just like to ignore them. Anyone can make an amazing dynasty if they put some effort into it, thats gonna be my quote, I have a copyright on saying "Anyone can make an amazing dynasty if they put some effort into it" :D No I didnt sharpen the photos, I just opened the TGA on photoshop, and re-saved it as a gif, for my next update, I will try them as a BMP, and see how they turn out

To everyone on this forum, keep up all the good work, and to everyone in the Dynasty and Announcements section, I will try to comment all of you, because I know how much people love seeing comments on their work, unless you have some serious problems in the head, so in my spare time, I will try to look at every dynasty in the section, and comment on it, cuz I know thats the right thing to do. :D

Thanks for stopping by and leaving the good comment  . I am glad too that this is finally up and running again

Thanks Mark, I heard you were really good at the dynasty, cant wait to see your, I will be "Watching the space". I didnt show the stats because it was pre-season, and I dont think stats are very neccessary, but I will post everything neccessary (and more) when I get the season running.

Keep in mind that I am a very commited person, even if I get sick of live, I will still keep this interesting, I was born like that, and if this dynasty ever ends, it will be because I accidentally deleted some file or something like that.

See you guys!
