SEASON PREVIEW
Expect AI2's scoring to increase a LOT.
Expect AI's to take the scoring title and be an MVP contender and assist leading title.
Expect the GM tomake trades or signings concering depth on the bench and continue the development of the youn stars(Willie Gren,AI2,Kyle Korver)
And mostly, expect a championship
Dont expect much from Webber except maybe 10-15ppg and about 10rpg.

OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW
On the first of november, the new sixers GM, Chris Blackmore, completed a weeks non-stop work of negotiating with the Pistons to tradeRodney Rogers for Carlos Arroyo.
Not only this, veteran PG, Kevin Ollie, has decided that the sixers are not good enough for his skill and is refusing to play another game for the sixer. This was perfect for the sixers as he was messing up the teams chemistry and they sixers are hoping to clean up some cap space for the offseason. Blackmore is currently working on a trade for Ollie.
"What Kevin did was completely unproffesional and is not something I would approve of, especialy a few days before the season opener. On the bright side we have rought in Arroyo. We have been trying for Arroyo since i saw his outstanding play in the last Olympics. He brings a fresh new championship hungry talented team player to the team which is exactly whats needed as a backup for Iverson."

Julius Erving is the new GM and special assistant coach. On his 1st act as GM, at 03:57am, he signed oldteam-mate and friend, sixer legend Moses Malone as Assistant coach. Erving replaces Billy Knight who stepped down to scout.
Prepare yourself for the Erving era.

SIXERS BLOWOUT BUCKS
The Sixers opened up the seasaon with a blowout victory over the supposedly refueled Bucks tonight. Andrew Bogut, the Bucks number 1 pick from the 2005 draft was put to shame as he was held to 2 of 16 shooting and 0 of 4 form the charity stripe while collecting only 4 rebounds. Lee Nailon, the Sixers forward came off the bench at the start of the second period to absolutely humiliate Bogut by dunking 5 straight facials on him as well as schooling him twice. Arroyo proved to be a steal scoring 12 points in 10 minutes and AI owned the game with 43 points and a triple double.
The game started with a sixers 10-2 run fueled by Iguadolas free throw line facial on Bogut. By the end of the 1st the Bucks just were no threat at all and the sixers had a 24 point lead at 41-17 led by A.I2's 15 points.
The second period was much the same and the Bucks just kept digging themselves deeper in a hole and ended up down 33 at 67-33.
In the third and fourth quarters, the Bucks panicked, commiting 20 turnovers and throwing up 14 3 point attemtps, making none of them. And to top it off, they fouled AI 7 times giving him 14 free throws which he didnt miss any of.
In the end the Sixers walked away with 7 players in double digit scoring, 3 double-double's, a trible double, a new rivalry (Nailon and Bout) and a 120-84 blowout.
KEY PLAYERS
ALLEN IVERSON - 43 points, 11 rebounds, 14 assists, 7 steals
ANDRE IGUADOLA - 27 points 7 rebounds 3 assists 4 blocks
CARLOS ARROYO - 12 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists in 10 minutes

IVERSONS LEADERSHIP TOPPLES TALENT IN 1ST TRAINING GAME
This outstanding game was won through pure, raw leadership, toppling down the obviously much more talented team.
1ST QUARTER
Right at the start of this quarter, Team Webber took an early lead and didn't look back the whole quarter. The start was just a ping pong battle until, with 10:01 left to go, Team Webber went on a 16-4 run, sparked by AI2's free throw line tip-in on Steven Hunter. The score at the end was30-16 to Team Webber.
2ND QUARTER
This is when Iverson simply did his thing. His team of bench players comeback (against 3 of the teams starters including a 20 career average veteran, 2 great young players and the best 3 point shooter in the NBA) was outstanding. The team played like an All-star team in this quarter to take back the lead. Green shot the 3's. Nailon dominated down low. Hunter blocked anyone that dared drive in his key and of course, Iversonn led the team and made the team substantially better. The score at the end was 44-20 to Team Iverson.
3RD QUARTER
Simply put, Iverson lead grew. With a comfortable lead, youd think Iverson's team would go into cruise control. Evidently we were wrong. Iverson didn't stop the attack at all. Mo Cheeks sat at the sideline simply gobsmacked wondering how the better players of the 76ers could play suck bad defence. The score at the end was 70-46.
4TH QUARTER
Sixers pride. Thats all there is that has to be said. The near full crowd that turned up to this free game stayed standing for the whole quarter with a chant for Iverson if his team had the ball and a chant for Webber if his team had the ball. It didn't matter who which side scored the crowd roared deafiningly(apparently by 5:06 left the decibel counter had broken!) both teams put on a great show in this quarter but tanks to a great comeback in the 2nd Team Iverson prevailed, 111-75.
KEY PLAYERS
Allen Iverson- 57 points 7 rebounds 14 assists
Kyle Korver- 30 points on perfect shooting(10-10 from the 3 point line)
Lee Nailon- 27 points 15 rebounds 4 assists other-Kept Webber to 0-15 shooting and held him to only 3 rebounds
Well we all have our opinions but what did Mo Cheeks think about his team, its over to him in the studio.
Thanks Marv. I'm Kenny Smith. I'm Magic Johnson. I'm Charles Barkley and I'm the other guy that no one knows. And your watching Inside the NBA
KENNY-Good Evening folks. We're joined by Mo Cheeks here. We're running late so Mo, its over to you, what did you think about the game and how are you going to improve your team?
MO CHEEKS- Hey Kenny. Well great game and an even better show in my mind. Quite a shocking result as well. it could just be that Team Webber wasn't up to it today but their defence was shocking up until the 4th, but that was far too little, far too late. We're working on defence for sure tomorrow.
MAGIC- Mo what d'you think of Iverson's game tonight.
MO CHEEKS- Amazing. He led that team on and made them play better than they ever have in their lives. Pity it's not the Finals but the bench now has a lot more confidence thanks to him. Iverson is amazing. He's taking my assist and steal record for sure.
KENNY- That's all we have time for join us tomorrow when the 76ers lock horns with the Detroit Pistons. Goodnight.
Sun Nov 06, 2005 1:08 am
Great coverage, although I was rooting for team Webber. Keep up the good work.
