Hey, anyone know where on the internet can I get some good deals for some good basketball shoes or gear (new or latest)? Also, if there's any sites out there with customizable shoes/gear. Thanks, I'd appreciate it.

u can usually get customised shoes from the shoe companies websites
like nikes id thing..

eastbay is a good place to get the latest gear

Yes, eastbay.com and footlocker.com (are the same) is the place to get the latest gear, they have everything. I bought my MPLS and Authentic home Kobe jersey over there.

i think its just pointless to buy them in the first place, espscialy for $80, in aust they also cost 80 and the shorts cost 80, what a rip off...maybe for 10 maxinm i would get it, i dont buy stuff that i will only wear on the court for too much money, coz on the court u dont need too much to wear, the only good thing i have are my shoes that cost me almost 200 AIs, and i had them for almopst a year and i playe more then 3 times i week!! jerseys are a wast of money!!

lol, you think 80 is much? I have a authentic jersey that costed 150 USD

.....I dont think you should wear jerseys on court, I always rock em ofcourt so I see it as my clothing not just a basketball jersey

$80 AUD, lets go to the handy money converter. So that equals $50 USD, I bought my nike rewind kobe jersey for $90 USD. Which equals...$142 AUD. the ones that are $80 dollars for you are the cheap printed on ones which don't last long because the image of the team and such gets worn and crumbles off. The one that I got the image is printed onto this tough thing that doesn't bend too much tham sewn on. So they could last for a long time. Those other jerseys are a waste because they wear out in a year and a half.

there are next to no nba gear that we (australians) can buy here,
as in there are hardly any stores that sell that kind of stuff, heck i've been looking for nba dvd's for God knows how long now.

We don't even get games from out national league broadcasted on free to air tv..... :roll:
