Ye bro. Stick here. nbalive.org has no one over there to look at dynasties. Here there are a bunch of people that will visit yours. You are already known as a hall of famer in nba live dynasties.

yeah seriously, nbalive.org feels really empty. nlsc is the place to be!

Thanks man, hopefully I can get it up and running soon. Yeah the NLSC is a bigger stage and this is where it all started for me and this dynasty thing. But I'm thankful for all the supporters that went over to .org and posted as well.

Journal #2

June 28, 2005
Richmond, VA
NBA 2005 Draft Night

“Pack your bags, were going to Atlanta baby!” screamed Bubbles. “I….I….I..got drafted, I finally got drafted!” Elijah’s dad ran up to him and gave him a huge hug. “HOTlanta here we come, are you ready for Eli Coco BABY” screamed Bubbles in excitement. The hugs were followed by Coach Capel and Bubbles. They ran into the living room only to hear Granik announce “with the 60th pick in the 2005 draft, the Detroit Pistons select Alex Acker from Pepperdine University and this concludes the 2005 NBA draft. Thank you and goodnight” Coach Capel announced “Eli, you got picked 59th by Atlanta, you’re in!” Not even a minute after the last selection, Bubble’s cell phone rings. Bubbles answered the phone, all the room hears are “thank you, we are excited as well, he’s very happy and we will be there” then he hands the phone to Elijah. Bubbles whispers “it’s Billy Knight, he’s the Hawks GM.” On the other end he hears “Hi son, this is Billy Knight. I guess your agent has told you the good news."
Elijah: Hello sir
Billy Knight: I know you didn’t work out for us, but we’ve heard great things about you.
Elijah: Thank you
Billy Knight: We will be sending a plane for you to come down here by next Wednesday. I hope we can negotiate and get you on board as soon as possible. Our scouts have told us that you have a lot of potential. I can’t promise anything now, but let us get you under contract and then you can start with the summer workouts and some summer league play to eventually prepare you for training camp.
Elijah: That sounds good sir, Mr.Bulba and I will be there.
Billy Knight: We will work with Mr. Bulba to try to negotiate a contract ready for you to sign on Wednesday. We look forward to having you a part of the Hawks family.
Elijah: Thank you sir, I’m excited as well.
Billy Knight: OK, till then, go celebrate. Good night, Elijah.
Elijah: Good night.

As soon as Elijah got off the phone, he hugged his father. “I love you dad, were going to make this happen” he whispered in his ear. Coach Capel pulled Elijah aside and told him “Look Eli, I’m happy for you but we’ve got to work harder than ever to get you on that roster. Not many late second round picks get picked up by the team that drafted them or even play a minute if they make the squad” Elijah nodded. Coach Capel continued “you might not even get a guaranteed contract, now don’t get me wrong, you’ve got the God given talent to make it, now you have to push yourself harder than ever.” Elijah knew it was going to be hard but he was so thankful he had a shot. Elijah and his father drove back to Virginia Beach that night. During the trip, Elijah’s phone rings “it’s Bubbles”. Bubbles informs Elijah that Nike has just called to congratulate him and needed him for a photo shoot in Florida on Sunday. “Get use to this son” Elijah’s father said. Eli had no idea what was in store for his future, but he just wanted the chance. “All I need is a chance dad.” “I know Eli…I know...” his father whispered.

LOL, now that's some funny shit! Yeah-you got it with the Hawks. We will get dad some medicine before the next journal, I promise

Thanks fellas, glad everyone likes the way I started. Wasn't sure if people were going to feel the player journal. But I have fun writing them and will incorporate it within the structure of my team dynasty. The Hawks will be a challenge so I hope I can do some good things with them. I will also provide links directly to each journal entry via the second post.(The first journal entry) For people who don't like going to the last page or going through pages. Makes it easier.

Two sides to every coin. You guys will get both sides.
I'm trying to incorporate a lot of angles. People who loved the "classic" pictures>words will like it and hopefully the die hard dynasty readers will get into the journals and follow the trials and tribulations of a guy just trying to follow his dreams.

I wonder which NIKE's you will wear

How did I know, you'd ask me that.

Oh yea, VA stand up! *stands up*

But VCU? C'mon looool. Represent cocobee, represent.

Oh yeah, but I live in NC now. But I went to VCU.

nice selection by the Hawks as Elijah only has to beat out Tyronn Lue, Royal Ivey, Salim Stoudamire and Tony Delk for the starting PG spot
